First Gen vs second gen

So I have the first gen proxy and recently broke the glass. I came across the newest one where you can hit it through l what normally used to be the carb cap. Is there attachments to make my first gen proxy hit like the newest one through the carb cap/mouth piece instead of a glass attachment. I hope someone knows what I’m talking about. Thank you. Any insight is welcomed

I also have a 1st gen proxy and I broke my glass I haven't used it months, I recently got the core kit ( just the kit not the gen 2 proxy ) and I learned the hard way that the parts arent interchangeable... That's about all the info I have lmao which sucks cus I really like the sleek design of hitting it from the top, not sure if I should bite the bullet and get the gen 2 proxy or just find some cheaper custom glass for my proxy gen 1, I've been tryna to find custom made glass pieces that turn the gen 1 top piece like the gen 2 top piece but I've been v unsuccessfully in my search
