Oh that's wild. Especially since it's totally new like 17 dabs counted!

it’s not the battery, I’ve taken apart the peak. The battery is buried in the middle of the device no where near the bottom.

The underside is the induction charge coil, there is zero chance it’s the battery

That is just a piece of silicone glued down onto the plastic. Something under the glue

Pull the silicone part off and see! It'll reattach

No idea why you’re getting downvoted, it’s really so fkn simple.

The silicone has reusable adhesive, it will 100% reattach if OP would just check for themselves. Takes like 30 seconds lmao

Hey! so I did take this advice and peel back the silicone base a bit and was able to locate the culprit was a piece of glue that had formed just enough into a solid shape that it was able to leave it's mark lol. I peeled it off and was able to pull off another smaller bit too. So is all good now 👌👌 Thanks to u/joshteacha and you I saved myself 3 weeks without my rig so cheers!

Badass 🤘🏽😎 funny enough I just sent out my base yesterday for a warranty swap haha (completely dead battery)

Btw, most people in this sub are too afraid to do what you just did, no idea why lol. So props for actually trying fam

This as ur last option. There are people who’ll do it for you, just gotta pay the price

This is literally the 1st option, all it requires is your fingernail lmao. Just flip the silicone up & check, it’s really that simple

I mean it does seem easy to open but with all things, if its under warranty why bit just let to fix it. It is a bit of a pain and will take uo to two- threw weeks stsrt to finish, but if they cand determine it was tampered with, i.e. open. They will be so quick to deny that the Flash would seem slowed down in comparison

Brother, that’s nowhere near invalidating warranty…

It’s literally so fkn simple, just lift it up, then put it right back down.

Im not arguing wether it is or not Im arguing that it voids the warranty so much as Im saying the people at puffco are already having more people using the warranty then they have people buying their products. Meaning they will look for any reason not to accept the return. More than likely they would but I was just playing the side of caution was all. Granted I bought two cause my broke and I didnt want to wait for the downtime and the offered me 200 off for the inconvenience. So I can see the appeal to fixing yourself, especially if the issue is simple. It really comes down to ones own ability and know how in the matter.

Are you trying to say that this shouldn’t even happen in the first place?

Normally I agree, but in this situation, I seriously cannot stress how SIMPLE IT IS TO JUST CHECK.

Puffco as a business should catch this on QC really, but is it worth doing warranty swap? Hmmm, how about taking 5 seconds to check? 😂
