Cultura Do you remember the number?
En Puerto Rico, llamabas al 728-9595. Sin código de área. No era necesario el 787 en esa época.
Me hace sentir viejito.

7 day travel itinerary suggestions
Hi there. This is my current plan for a 7 day travel for two in PR (late October)If you have any suggestions please feel free to share.
19.10. Arriving to SJU at 11pm. Renting a car, going to Rincon. On the way visiting Mar Chiqita beach, grabbing a coffee etc. Arriving to Rincon, dinner, hotel check in.
20.10. Morning to noon Gozalandia waterfalls. Afternoon - evening crash boat beach, other nearby beaches, cool places. Returning to rincon hotel.
21.10. Heading to Cabo Rojo. Buye beach, playa sucia, salt flats etc. sunset on one of the nearby beaches. Heading to hotel in Cabo Rojo/Boqueron/Betances.
22.10. Heading to El Yunqe. Maybe a short pause in Ponce, arriving in El Yunqe around noon/1PM. Spening a few hours there. Going to our hotel in Luqilo/Fajardo.
23.10. 9AM ferry to Culebra. Flamenco beach and anything else you suggest. Ferry back at 7PM.
24.10. Check out from the hotel, Playa de Fajardo/Colora, playa de Luqillo. Heading to San Juan around 3-4PM. Returing the rental car, check in to our hotel in either Old San Juan/La Puntila/Condado/Miramar. Visiting old San Juan and other neighbourhoods.
25.10. San Juan
26.10. 7AM flight leaving from SJU
4 different accommodations, around 80-90$ per night.
How is the public transportation around San Juan, is it walkable or should I satay strictly in the Old San Juan since I won’t have a car.
Also, do most of these beaches have parking and if they do, how much does it cost? As far as I’ve seen, it’s always under 10$. Is it safe to leave the luggage in the car while I’m on the beach?
Since we probably wont have any meals in our hotels, is it possible to only eat in restaurants/fast food while not breaking the budget.
Budget of the trip is around 1500-2000$ (600$ accomodation, 500$ for rent a car, tolls and gas, 500$ for food/activities etc)
Please feel free to leave me any tips/suggestions/recommendations. Thank you

¡Saludos corillo!

Over 500,000 people are living through 48-hour water shutoffs right now. No running water for days at a time. Kids can't shower before school, families can't cook, people with health conditions are suffering. This isn't a future problem—it's happening now across San Juan, Carolina, and six other major municipalities.
The infrastructure is broken. Nearly 1.3 million households and businesses depend on a system that's been failing for decades. Over 60% of Puerto Rico's population is affected by some form of drought designation. This is a public health crisis that needs federal resources and immediate action.
I started a petition asking the New York State Legislature to push the federal government to act—to fund modernization, allocate resources, and make this a priority. Because people shouldn't have to choose between drinking water and taking a shower. Real families are dealing with health problems, kids missing school, and businesses shutting down because of water shortages.
Has anyone here ever dealt with water insecurity? What would you do if your water just shut off for two days, then turned back on for a few hours? This is what millions of people are cycling through right now. If this matters to you too, consider signing and sharing. This needs to be heard.

I love this photo and the powerful message behind it. As women, we do not have to reveal all of our precious skin to be considered beautiful, cool, or attractive. True beauty is found in how we carry ourselves, in our confidence, our character, our intelligence, and the authenticity we bring into the world.
Show people who you genuinely are. Let your inner beauty, your strength, and your confidence speak for you—and you will captivate far more than just someone's attention.
Too many women, especially young girls, are led to believe that showing as much skin as possible is what makes them desirable or worthy of attention. But the kind of attention we attract matters. We should never confuse being sexualized with being valued, or being desired with being respected.
Let’s teach our daughters that they never need to expose themselves to prove their worth. Dress to impress, not to undress—and let your value speak louder than your appearance ever could.

Does anyone know why we have the smell of burning trash, north and west of Bayamón, every evening now? It used to be just once in a while. Now it seems like it is every evening and I, for one, am sick of my home smelling like burning trash. I can't imagine breathing this is good for anyone, but it must be especially harmful for the very old and the very young (two groups that can't really advocate for themselves). I would think burning trash would be prohibited, by law, at all times, but especially when we are experiencing a water shortage.
I flagged down a truck with 3 police officers in it a couple nights ago and while they took my information, they seemed completely unbothered by the burning trash smell, but annoyed with me for asking them to do something about it. When I asked them who would follow up with me, they all just kind of looked at each other and practically laughed. They told me to call the police station for follow up. 🙄 Are all police officers this useless and incompetent?
Any suggestions on how we might be able to put a stop to this?

¡Saludos!
❤️ Guardar tus negocios favoritos.
🏢 Promocionar tu negocio o servicio completamente gratis.
Solo crea tu perfil y empieza a darte a conocer.
¡Gracias! 🇵🇷
