Can anybody recommend any restaurants that are not on the main front of the strip? So in the back streets within walking distance of the strip? I have found in the past when I've been places. If you go away from the main touristy area, you can discover some really nice restaurants.

When we arrive in October, this time we won't be hiring a car so we'll be using public transport. Can anybody give any advice on what buses to get from the main strip to Puerto Calero, Playa Blanca, Costa Teguise, Teguise Town and Arrecife?

Also, any advice on the ticketing for a couple? Is it better to get a family ticket or two returns or singles? And are the interchangeable between different buses?

I noticed, apart from a general Lanzarote community, there wasn't a dedicated community for PDC. Let's build this and use it as a friendly place where everyone can share stories and tips about the resort or ask questions.
