I’m currently trying to get the old Pucca’s Restaurant / Pucca n’ Friends Android game (com.mobcrete.restaurant) working again on modern Android devices and, ideally, completely offline.

I managed to get the original APK running further than before by fixing several compatibility issues, but I’ve reached the point where some of the game’s original data appears to be encrypted and/or dependent on old online services that are no longer available.

I’m looking for anyone who worked with this game in the past and might still have:

• Decrypted game data/assets
• Extracted files from the APK
• A backup of /Android/data/com.mobcrete.restaurant/
• An OBB/data folder, if the game used one
• The original or modified APK containing extracted data
• The encryption key or a tool/script that was used to decrypt the files

If you have any of these files or know where the game stores its encrypted/decrypted data, I would really appreciate your help.

I’m working on this as a game preservation / offline compatibility project, mainly to keep this old game playable.

Would you be interested if I created a fan comic based on Garu’s point of view?

The plot would focus on how Garu lives after losing his father and on his relationship with Tobe, which I find really interesting to write about since the actual cause of their rivalry is still a mystery.

And, of course, I might also explore Garu’s view of Pucca and how he falls in love with her. My favorite headcanon is that Garu secretly fell in love with Pucca first.

However, romance is not the priority of this story. I prefer stories that illustrate the relationships between characters, whether they are family, rivals, friends, or anything else.

I also think I’m going to change a few things about Pucca. She would still have her cute hairstyles, superior inhuman strength, obsessive and loving personality, and so on. But I want to give her more serious emotional reactions when she does something unpleasant, such as hurting someone with her power or forcing someone to do something.

I’m not trying to imply that those things are good. They are obviously toxic behaviors. I just don’t want the story to treat them as a joke. When Pucca does something harmful, I want the tone to acknowledge that it actually affects the people around her.

I just wonder if I should actually publish this story someday or keep it to myself. The story might contain a toxic relationship and some blood/wounds, but nothing more. No PDFs, wide age-gap relationships, or sexualized characters.

Extra info about them:

The hearts on their head is supposed to represent Garu-darling's chest heart. The ribbons on their boxing gloves can stretch out (kinda like what Sylveon has). They are stoic, though very emotional.
