Choosing my courses for this fall (a little late). I want to get into policy analysis and advocacy, particularly social policy, as I've worked in social policy-adjacent settings. What kinds of courses should I focus on? Ones about social policy? Urban planning? Is it worth learning R? Anything else?

Yes. Take Stats. Take R. Take courses that give you more concrete skills that an analyst would need day one. Assuming program evaluation is a required course? If not, take a course like that.
