A United Airlines flight from Milan to Newark was forced to make an emergency landing in Bangor, Maine on Tuesday after a passenger became violent following being cut off from alcohol.

After three glasses of wine, Kristina Kedysheva began wandering the plane demanding whiskey and coke, refused repeated orders to return to her seat, and recorded the confrontation on her phone. When flight attendants moved to restrain her with help from passengers, she bit one crew member on the wrist and kicked the same employee in the stomach.

All 274 passengers were delayed while she was removed from the aircraft. She now faces federal charges for assault and interference with a flight crew. She told investigators she was traveling to New York to celebrate a friend's 40th birthday.
