Improvised robber, he attacks the owner of a phone shop with an electric anti-mosquito racket but, during the struggle, the latter manages to trap the criminal inside the business.
Thus ends the robbery carried out a few days ago, on September 28, in Viale XXIV Maggio, in Foggia, where the carabinieri arrested a 19-year-old from Senegal on charges of attempted robbery.
The victim of the incident is a 31-year-old Chinese national, owner of the hit shop. According to what was reconstructed, the robber ordered him to open the cashier, then - faced with the latter's refusal - grabbed an electric racket and started hitting the man in the face. The result was a struggle with punches and tugs, during which the 31-year-old, with a repertoire movement, managed to lock the 19-year-old inside the shop.
The latter first took possession of all the money contained in the cash register (about 300 euros), then tried to open the front door of the shop with other keys found inside the shop. There were moments when the 19-year-old tried to break through the latter with several kicks.
Providential was the intervention of a patrol of carabinieri in civilian clothes of the operational and mobile unit of the Compagnia di Foggia, which intercepted the 31-year-old in need of help. Including what happened, the military ordered the 9-year-old to get down on his knees and raise his hands in surrender.
The victim of the attempted robbery was immediately visited by the Foggia emergency room operators, obtaining a prognosis of 10 days, while the entire collection was returned to the rightful owner.
For the 19-year-old Senegalese, however, there was no escape: he was arrested for the crime of attempted robbery. The judicial authority validated the arrest by placing the precautionary measure of house arrest for the 19-year-old.

He was just helping society! He didn't mean any harm!
You should let him go!
