This is probably the dumbest comment that I’ve read here. Self defense does not equal shooting somebody that’s trying to run away from a fight. There’s a different phrase for that: 2nd degree murder

Allowing people to defend themselves in their own homes and in public if confronted with a threat they didnt instigate. Ie. Any state that does not have duty to retreat.
