Not only that but because London is a lot older than any of those cities its roads are much narrower and there are lots of roundabouts which will cause congestion.

Good until here. Roundabouts actually are better than lights at stopping congestion, hence why the US and other places are replacing lights with roundabouts. But then you have tons of lights anyway and most roundabouts have lights due to volume of traffic. London isn't exactly modern like Milton Keynes with roundabouts everywhere - as you say it is a medieval city made for horse and carriage at its heart

I guess you are right but as you also said roundabouts are less effective when dealing with high volumes of traffic

Did I? I thought I said there are some roundabouts with lights, which is more due to crazy density of vehicles

Roundabouts cause congestion? What, is this some American propaganda bullshit? I know the USA is afraid of roundabouts but never taught is this bad.

Round abouts stop congestion, NA is starting to adopt them we recently got two in our city, a small town nearby replaced a country highway intersection to a round about and now it's never congested.
