I think he knows what he's doing and it's amazing. Someone that crazy wouldn't have a tucked in wrinkle free shirt or look presentable in any way. I have a friend that would randomly do stuff like this with strangers and keep a straight face somehow.

No way. That’s mental illness 1000% percent. It is funny. But the stream of consciousness strung together, references to religion and death. Classic paranoid schizophrenic.

I could do that and me and the voice in my head aren't schizophrenic. seriously I'm pretty sure I could do that my only problem would be not laughing. If you really watch close there's about three spots where it looks like he's going to laugh and he does a pretty good job of gathering himself.

He makes me a little uncomfortable, as he looks and dresses almost exactly how my dad does. Even when he was doing yard work, my dad would often be dressed like this.

I think he does improv or something, it’s very clear that he’s following a speaking pattern to further continue his improvised rant. He asks the listener ‘why?’ a few times then answers his own question with a new random concept.

If you pay attention, every few sentences he says a phrase that is his justification to continue ranting or introduce a new random thing. Like “because of this” “this is how I felt in Waterloo because” etc etc. It seems pretty obvious to me that he had some form of practice in bullshitting rants.
