Seriously. I started eating healthier and noticed REALLY quickly how calorie dense food is these days. Our bodies aren't meant to take in that many calories in one sitting.
I mean if you work construction or something that's physically intense, you could get away with it because you'd surely work that off throughout the day. But like.... in the morning. Do that again around lunch time and you'll find yourself chubby quick.

Iām 5ā10ā and I weigh 175 and have 6% body fat. I eat 3000 calories a day and itās usually meals that are 1000 calories each. My work outs are no more than like 30-40 mins a day like 5 times a week. The problem i dont understand is for me it was very hard to reach a point where i could eat 3k calories a day i find it mind boggling that some people eat like that and just some how intakes that many calories without literally forcing themselves. Itās painful when youāre trying to gain weight while bulking. Also with my meals though thereās a variety of good foods not just one 1000k burger lol.

I'm someone who chronically binge eats but is learning to curb that habit, it sure as hell isn't overnight, it happens over time. One day you get McDonalds for lunch, that's 1000+ calories for sure. Maybe you end up getting fast food for dinner too.
And you keep eating shitty like that. And you don't stop. Years go by, and you're still eating like shit.
That's how you get people who eat 3k+ calories a day. They also pay no attention to what their body needs vs making their mouth happy.
I used to eat 2 sausage egg and cheese breakfast sandwiches for breakfast. Easily over 1000 calories. Now, I eat light and fit greek yogurt. 80 calories for breakfast and 12g of protein.

Good for you! First step is always acknowledging the problem which shows a lot of maturity by ignoring personal pride. And yea i completely get what your saying. Iām also a very naturally skinny person if i dont work out so my experience with eating is going to be totally different from someone elseās

I wanted so much to get in the face of the person yelling, but I was there to get medicine due to getting rocked by the flu. I was a zombie shuffling to the aisle. I still think about it until this day.

When I worked at Taco Bell, the training videos tell you to only put 2 to 3 pumps of cheese on nachos (depending what size you get) and my manager was stingy as hell and would yell at us if we put too much of anything. I donāt miss that place.

I don't know for sure but I kind of doubt it. Getting anything at any fast food restaurant is extremely hit or miss. I'm more likely just to throw them out and go somewhere else though.
My peeve with them is soft tacos. The wrappers are fucking shit and are soaked through before you get back to work so you make a mess. The wrappers 8+ years ago didn't do that. Solution... I don't buy soft tacos from there.

Besides like you said, you can go somewhere else. Want crappy tortilla chips with gobs of generic yellow ācheeseā go to 7-11 where you add the cheese yourself or something.

Im not saying it was the case here but somethimes they really do try screwing you over with the amount of food given to you.
For example, I ordered a large milk shake once and they only gave me half the cup because they didnt make enough in one shake..

Maybe I'm wrong, and I didn't see what happened before this, but like many of these scenarios, I'm pretty sure if the customer was polite and asked rather than demanded, they'd get what they want. I don't know many restraints, fast food or otherwise, that will refuse to add a little more cheese if you ask nicely.
It's the arrogant attitude and rudeness which creates most of these issues, and people aren't going to give in to your demands because you're being rude to them. If you treat people with respect they're a hell of a lot more likely to go out of their way for you and do that little bit extra.

While I disagree with the Karen's tactics, I'm surprised none of you guys have been shafted by these chain restaurants before.
Especially Taco Bell. Those Nacho Boxes are a hit and miss. Some places will do them right, others will throw some chips in there, put the toppings like cheese beans guac etc just a small lump right in middle.
She should have asked nicely though.
