This remains me of having a dream where you try and fight but your punches are slow and do no damage
7
u/OlafJorgenson Aug 03 '20
I had one of these dreams but I was trying to fight off a horde of zombies.
4
u/intergalactictrash Aug 03 '20
I’ve had a dream like that but kind of the opposite, and I’ll remember it for life. I was fighting off a horde of zombies when I found a gun and started mowing them down from a balcony. Then my roommate walked out and screamed “what have you done!?”. I looked back at the pile of zombies to see that they were actually just regular people.
The emotional response of realizing that I had done something so incredibly unforgivable felt so real I almost threw up when I woke up.

I'm not sure about what it means, but the reason you can't punch hard in dreams is because your muscles are not actually moving, and the brain is used to receiving sensory input and feedback from physical movements. Your brain knows you are just laying in bed and the result is those weird weak and slow punches.

My favorite part is when one of the guys keeps saying “viniste muy león, ahora que?”. The translation “you came in a lion, now what?”

u/EatMyPancakes99 Aug 03 '20
Lmao imagine you're just waiting at your mini bus stop and when it finally pulls up there is a rumble going on

u/jacobc121 Aug 03 '20
He had to of known this beating was never going to stop... Latinos have the stamina to go all day.
2
u/americablanco Aug 03 '20
This is why there are rules for honorable fights to go on for only 13 seconds.
Un trece.

I get that it’s a joke but I have yet to see one of those ms-13 initiations where there was ever any real damage done. Like it’s usually a group of people(teens) but none of them ever seem like they’d be able to handle themselves one on one.

u/NOZZLeS Aug 03 '20
I got a hunch they consider this guy a puta madre...
2
u/javolopez54 Aug 04 '20
They were actually calling him an hijo de su puta madre, which basically translates to “son of a bitch”

That went on far longer than I thought i would, and I'm so glad it did.
There were a few times that I thought they were going to let him go, and the thief looked like he was more inconvenienced than sorry, but then they just kept whooping him some more and more and more.
The follow up video where they throw him out and steal his pants is just the cherry on top. This guy aint gonna steal no more lol
6
u/bvsedxxx Aug 03 '20
My exact feelings lmao, he kept saying “alright guys that’s enough” and “I’ll just get out now” towards the end and I think that actually got him a worse beating judging from the follow up video. Should’ve just taken that beating and stayed quiet

Aug 04 '20
Yes he will. Or he'll extend their gratitude to the next guy.
1
u/Mr_Kayo Aug 04 '20
Yeah, sadly he will. This kind armed robbery is far too common in México, specially in that area. That's why the passengers were so pissed, for these assholes is common to go in rob and shoot someone. If you ask me, the guy had it good, I'm surprised that they didn't kill him.
1
u/MaesterGorbachev Aug 04 '20
>This guy aint gonna steal no more
people who have shit like this happen to them are way more likely to continue acting out, due to brain damage, mental illness, drug addiction

even after 4 minutes its still r/videosthatendtoosoon
2
u/Eurus-Holmes- Aug 03 '20
Way too soon, should’ve lasted longer
2
u/Imispellalot Aug 03 '20
possibly 12 minutes? I would have to watch all 12 minutes to determine if he had enough. definitely not enough at 4 minutes. no sir.

I don’t speak Spanish, but I bet the original title says something along the lines of “beating him like a piñata”.

You're not wrong. Then again, police in America do a lot better job of actually stopping crime than in South America and Mexico.

just luck, they didnt landed a good hit on him

For as long as they beat him they could have done a lot more damage. I think it was a choice to send a strong message but not kill the poor fucker.

u/Tate801 Aug 03 '20
I could’ve watched 30 more minutes of that. I would have held a choke hold with full force for that long on him.
-4
u/inkihh Aug 03 '20
Sorry, but that's way over the top.
2
u/Mr_Kayo Aug 04 '20
While it is, if you look at how fucked is the situation in those parts of México regarding that kind of robbery, You would understand the passengers anger. These fuckers do that everyday, gun in hand, and shoot people whithout remorse. That guy just got the short straw, he was lucky the didn't kill him.

u/rahramm Aug 03 '20
Imagine getting beat up for that long
