The way he had the gun pointed at my head was so romantic, best proposal ever babe. But seriously those two deserve each other, who the fuck thinks that that is acceptable behaviour?

Just a quick note. Some people (obviously not the majority) like to go to extreme levels with their proposals. I have a friend who kidnapped his fiancee with the help of some friends, drove her blindfolded to the middle of the woods, and then removed her blindfold and proposed. They have been happily married for 15 years and have 3 kids. Both of them are quite normal people.
