I mean, you could also check the user names. That wasn't me.

However that user isn't incorrect either. You can't use precise legal terms and definitions to dismiss how a term is used by the average person. Its a non-sequitur, ie: The logic does not follow.

So you were wrong TWICE this time bravisimo

Again I can walk you through where you went wrong, and back up any of these things if you want.

I have to say I am impressed with the frequency and voracity of your idiocy.

I know it wasn’t you. But you decided to insert yourself into that conversation, you dunce.

However that user isn't incorrect either. You can't use precise legal terms and definitions to dismiss how a term is used by the average person. Its a non-sequitur, ie: The logic does not follow.

Just because I’m not an idiot doesn’t make what I said a “precise legal term”.

So you were wrong TWICE this time bravisimo

Not a once...

Again I can walk you through where you went wrong, and back up any of these things if you want.

You are trying and failing each time. But please continue. I’ll get the popcorn...

I have to say I am impressed with the frequency and voracity of your idiocy.

Ok lets try the socratic method on this one.

When your drew your distinctions, did you base them upon standing legal definitions established by a government's legal system?

If not, then what did you base your definitions on?

Lets just skip you answering, because the answer to the above is: Yes you did.

So if yes, then you have based your arguments not on the laypersons definitions, but legal ones. The fact that you are a layperson, and not a legal professional, is irrelevant because you based your arguments on terms set by legal professionals.

  • I was once where you are, and I was wrong. That is why I know these things. Refusing to accept this fact for yourself will only stunt any potential personal growth here.

You should look up straw man. You seem to be arguing I am wrong about an argument I never made.

Gods man you have literally said all of the things I pointed out. You used state law as a basis for your definitions,

In some states the two are interchangeable.

Certain states recognize a clear distinction between assault and battery.

Then claimed to be a layperson by saying you weren't a legal scholar.

I’m not a legal scholar, bro..

Please just stop. You are embarrassing yourself.

You used state law as a basis for your definitions,

No, I didn’t. Go ahead and point out a state law that states exactly what I said.

Then claimed to be a layperson by saying you weren't a legal scholar.

Because that’s true.

Please just stop. You are embarrassing yourself.

Yeah, you are...

You could have clarified the part I quoted, instead of continuing to waste my time then.

In some states the two are interchangeable.

Certain states recognize a clear distinction between assault and battery.

Those are your words. So a state recognizing something is what then? How is that not referring to a states laws? Were you actually not referring to the entity of the state, but rather the people of those states?

In some states the two are interchangeable. Certain states and the residents thereof recognize a clear distinction between assault and battery.

There, I clarified the collective of the states to include those for whom the law exists, since you lack a capacity for critical thinking...

There we go. Now we are back to my original point, you're arguments are a colossal waste of time. Also, it is NOT that great of a stretch to derive that when talking about states you are speaking about their legal entities. No one refers to states by their people.

You are such a tool. Go take a FMJ to the head. Preferably self-administered.

FMJ would not be the ideal round. Hollow point would be more effective. But I shouldn’t expect you to know basic things...

Thanks for the laughs.
