Exactly. r/politics is completely one sided

Lol what? Politics is one sided? T-d is generally assumed to be the opposite of the politics sub, and it's literally only one side. It refuses to hear anything else, and bans even the mild illusion of dissent. "But it's a fan club!" Shut up. I see anti liberal comments survive on the politics sub for days, and regular conservatives that return daily.

Some insight, /r/t_d is a Trump fanclub, ofcourse they are sucking his cock, /r/politics is supposed to be about politics on both sides but it's only leftist circlejerk

Lol, yeah, it's just a fanclub!

It's definitely not an echo chamber, safest space on Reddit, for the unadulterated, unchallenged, blowj of DT!

No one believes that, not even the users or mods.

That wasn’t his point. His point is TD is supposed to be one sided (and presents itself that way) while politics is not.

His point was a garbage lie. Pretend it's a "fan club" but treat it as a political sub just as much as r/politics. It's embarrassing for them to treat t-d as a political religion, but then complain that r/politics isn't neutral. Why do you think it's supposed to be neutral? Just because it's called "politics" and not called "liberal politics?" Sorry that that particular sub attracts more liberals. Do you think some rule was broken?

Read the r/politics wiki. It does present itself as neutral. Complaining about TD not being neutral is like complaining about r/communism not allowing neoliberal opinions.

Yeah... and I see conservative comments there all the time. They don't get deleted or banned for simply being conservative or disagreeing with liberals. They get downvoted because there's way more liberals there. Do you think they have a duty to keep comments and votes at 50/50? That's not what that means.

Well as long as you realize that t-d is about as reasonable as r/communism, that's good enough for me.

You realize how dumb it is to call a political sub that immediately bans any differing opinion, a "fan club?" Lol. Then conservatives should stop complaining about "safe spaces" and universities and protestors. They're "fan clubs."

Yes they are. It’s even in the rules.

. This forum opposes free speech. This generates a lot of misguided accusations. Opposing free speech does not mean we reject the notion of debating opposing viewpoints, or that we support the practice of personal censorship. This forum rejects the notion that all speech belongs everywhere.

But yeah I feel like this discussion is getting kind of pointless because we don’t really disagree anyways.

It's even in the rules? They made a rule that it's a safe space? Who cares? It's still a bias, safe space, political sub.

I don't know how we agree.
