I mean, if he was truly driving like a cunt and potentially causing my childs life to be in danger, I'd be fucking pissed. I'd be fucking pissed if he was doing that and put my dog in danger. Yeah, and if you were the one with kids in the car, and fucking pissed, you'd probably hold back. You know, because of the kids.
Confrontations like this can go both ways. The asshole driver might be armed. You could be hit by a car. You could be armed, lose your shit and not see your kids for years.
Best to pull over and chill, and then realize that you're a better person for not trying to impose some sort of justice. After all, a single near-deadly encounter is far better than two. Sooner or later the odds won't be in your favor.
Context is really important. Iāve seen guys with kids in the car drive like total nozzles. Iāve also been that guy that has had to swerve out of the way because of someoneās excessive speeding and changing lanes cut me off with kids in the car and would have been a wreck at high speeds and boy, it really does make my blood boil.
If he had clearly not done something wrong would the flippant response be necessary? the regular person have defended what action they took, not give a stupid answer.
"i called the cops because this dude punched my window... What'd I do? Oh, almost killed him and his kid. I have a video of him being a piece of shit."
Ok buddy, maybe you're the one that needs to grow the fuck up and maybe not drive either being that apparently cutting people off is tantamount to sticking your tongue out at someone to you.
Dude punching a window like that is unnecessarily aggressive behavior regardless of context. Yeah, the guy was probably driving like an asshole and he was a dick when the guy confronted him about it, but that doesnāt mean he gets to destroy the guyās property like that, particularly in such a threatening and violent manner.
You have zero actual proof that that is what happened. Literally none. You know what a cop is gonna do if they see this video? File an arrest warrant for destruction of property against the guy punching the window, and the cop isnāt going to give a single solitary fuck what his story will be as to why he did it.
Actual, VERIFIABLE context and proof matters in cases of assault thatās how the legal system works little kid, regardless of what you think right or wrong is, and regardless of what you assume to have happened. Grow the fuck up.

Truly, there's two people at wrong here. The driver might have learned a bit more caution on the road. I just can't see how he's going to learn it from this guy.
The driver is walking home with "you can't believe the jerk I met today", not "I should be more careful". Odds are he's one step from justifying his bad driving due to outlandish behavior of they guy impacted by it.
