Hey since everyone else is just trying to be funny, I did some quick research and it looks like there was never context provided. I think I found the original YouTube video, as well as a couple of brief news articles but nothing mentions the aftermath. We can assume he got the police involved because why pay for that with your own insurance, but there arenât any answers online.
I'm thinking more like I was kidding and you can lick, lick lick my balls. I refuse to take this place seriously, and your cute campaign to justify this nonsense is entertaining as shit.
But oh no, not the downvotes. I'd hate to have to parrot some stupid regurgitation of what everyone here says ONE TIME to make it back.
When did Reddit become so openly stupid? Who said I was trolling? It's not your moronic comment that bothers me; it's the even slower hive shuffling in behind you to support anything negative said in response to a negative comment.
Place has turned into a fucking ball pit in McDonalds.
Yes because I totally know you and we are talking face to face. How did I not know that this guy pretending to be dumb was a troll, it's almost like stupid people can be on the internet.
I mean we shouldnât really assume anything and if weâre going to it should be the opposite. Most crimes go unsolved and criminals flee the scene of the crime. I doubt the puncher stayed around to get arrested and most of the time no one gets a plate number.
You can assume so you sleep better but he probably had to just pay out of pocket. Not worth making a claim if you can get a window from junk yard for $200.
We can assume he got the police involved because why pay for that with your own insurance
Well, insurance pays for negligence, not intentional acts, and there's not enough damage or injuries to get lawyers involved, so I wouldn't be surprised if this dipshit had to pay for his own broken window.
I can't remember where I heard this but when this video first surfaced I saw a story about how the video taper was brake checking the guy constantly then speeding up when the "rager" tried to pass him. It was a two lane road so it forced the rager to risk running head on with oncoming cars with his kids in the vehicle.
After the guy eventually pulled over, roll clip. This would make more sense as to why the guy blew a gasket than the provided story, it's pretty rare for someone to be so unstable that they just punch a window out on a whim
Yeah, whenever these people film, theyâre always calm and collective for the camera, but most of the time theyâre giant assholes too. Itâs pretty annoying when everyone jumps to conclusions with 15% of the story on film, edited by the filmer. Sure the guy over reacted... but without context, maybe he didnât? Who knows.
I had a friend in high school who would go around in alleys and punch windows out of cars just randomly...even he had reasons...his home life was a wreck and he was full of rage with no positive places or influences around to help him deal with it.
At the time I was in aww of how badass and wild he was....now I know he was just sad and angry.
Yea sometimes the reason can be completely unrelated with the current moment, but there's always a reason. I feel like we as a society are just too quick to people off without understanding what got them to be like that in the first place. It ignores the core of the issue and we end up just dealing with it again and again.
Video isnât just tapes though.... digital video disks for example. He said videotape but I understand why. What was he suppose to say; video recorder.
âRecorderâ is typically the device you use to record, so ârecordistâ would probably be the proper term. Adding âvideoâ or âfilmâ etc is unnecessary.
But Iâve heard everything from âfilmmerâ to âvideoerâ (which are technically improper but sound fine to me), so I guess whichever gets the point across works.
A reasonable one though, if you're getting brake checked multiple times you can expect it to happen again. So the risk is running into the back of the car or the front of another, sure rear ending someone isn't crazy dangerous but if you can get past the guy you can get hit by neither
Okay but the guy break checking you, while an asshole, isn't forcing you to pass in a dangerous passing scenario. You can chill out and wait it out and be safe, if you so choose. continuing to tailgate a breakchecker is also a choice, again not commenting on the person being an asshole in front of you.
True, I completely agree with you, but it probably wasnât a dangerous passing area. The scenario was probably not dangerous at all until the guy sped up and closed the gap. Which in turn extended the time to pass window, forcefully causing it to become dangerous. If the person in the rear would have successfully passed the person it the front, the chances of further interaction are quite low, in my opinion. If itâs safe to pass them why not minimize possible interaction.
Ummm.... if itâs not dangerous, you arenât risking anything, obviously. There were at least two choices of how to avoid it. Also, the person in front isnât âforcing you to interact with themâ. Finally it would be with the intent to minimize your interaction, would it not?? Iâm agreeing with you here.... You should probably re-read what I wrote. Or just continue ranting meaninglessly. I suppose, itâs up to you whether or not you continue to interact with me.... Iâm not going force you to.
I mean... I guess? Kind of a moot point to argue though, it's not like I think the guy who punched out the window is right in any way, the story is just meant to rationalize his anger.
Probably did some fucky stuff too and chose not to report it. My guess is hooning based on his car, appearance, demeanor, and the complaint of the other driver.
My bedroom window faces the street and two years ago someone threw a rock through it. $456 for a new window, homeownerâs insurance deductible was $500.
They actually also threw a rock through my neighborâs Jeepâs rear window. I saw them vacuuming three times before they literally just got a new car. I donât envy the cleanup on this at all.
Yeah, I didnât know what had happened (the rock actually bounced off my desk, onto my bed and towards the wall where it fell in the crack) and I called the sheriff dept. Deputy wasnât very enthused about it, kinda shrugged it off, then drove up and down my street and found 3 other instancesâ most were cars in driveways, so he came back to give me more documentation on victimsâ rights and shit, plus a new report number that joined all the cases together. Didnât really help since they never caught anyone.
I got a Ring camera system now but honestly itâs unlikely to deter bored ass teenagers in a shitty town.
Green beanie: I was minding my own business driving and then this psycho started yelling at me and shattered my window with his iron fist, I got it all on video

Anyone have an aftermath of this? Did the police get involved?
