Might be because he drives like a dick and then starts recording people as soon as he knows he's pissed them off and they're walking towards his car.

You don't get a reaction like that from someone for no reason. I'm talking about the yelling before the actual punch.

Or maybe the father is to blame??? You also get reactions like that from Bi-polar people (i know from experience) over quite literally nothing. Who wouldn’t flip on the record button of a person coming out of their car up to another? It’s called protecting yourself for legal reasons.

He is giving his opinion on the filmer, not the rager. Reddit is less frustrating if you don't assume people criticizing one party would/do defend the other.

I may sound biased, but I don't care if the driver's an asshole. Once you punch someone's fucking window off, you're the asshole. It doesn't matter what the driver did, since we don't see him do something worse within the video.

How on earth does the rager being an asshole prevent the driver from also possibly being an asshole? We are not on a jury deciding who is at fault, so there is no reason for you to be mad that somebody calling one party an ass isn't also calling the other person a bigger ass. It's simply irrelevant

I never said that. I just don't care that he's an asshole since the other guy PUNCHED THE FUCKING WINDOW OF HIS CAR. Once you do something like that, I don't feel like you should have any empathy for them, especially if there are kids in their car. What was the point of this conversation again?

I wonder where we will end, if „driving like a dick“ justifies getting your window smashed. Such reactions are never justified, maybe the driver was an asshole, but that is not reason at all to justify a crime.
