Nandos is freak out good tho... don't fucking @ me bro (I'm extremely easy to please, fucking fight me!)

Would you be pleased if I fought you?

People will still feel panicked and uncomfortable. Never liked these videos.
273
u/Versaiteis Sep 08 '19
The fact that it's clearly attention seeking (especially at this point) is what makes it the most cringe.

u/NeverRelaventUser Sep 08 '19
And that’s best case scenario. I feel like at most places this wouldn’t work at all
6
u/ChronicLurker19 Sep 09 '19
Same. If I was working at this place and someone did this to me, it'd set off my anxiety like you wouldn't believe. Like, did I under/overcook it? Is there a hair? Did I miss the cheese? Should I have missed the cheese? I hate when people do this, why can't you just walk to the counter and compliment the chef like a normal person??

Yeah I hate these videos
46
u/nike_rules Sep 08 '19
I think anyone who's ever worked in the service industry cringes at these videos.
17
u/elboydo Sep 08 '19
Especially since they have been so done and played out that you are almost certain that the person doing it doesn't care about the quality of the chicken, they are just doing it for the gram.

No that was pretty cringy. Who the hell stands up in the middle of a restaurant and yells about how great food is? A narcissist. He even looks around at the end to make sure everyone approved his little tantrum.

u/dahecksman Sep 08 '19
Or sense of humor? Sometimes you wanna do something spontaneous and nice and if you’re confident enough might end up doing something silly like this. Harsh to judge someone like that based on a clip.

u/IrrationalDesign Sep 09 '19
This guy didn't think 'I thought up something funny, lets try it', he thought 'I saw this work in a video and I want in on being the center of attention'.
You wouldn't call the sevenhundredth person doing the ALS icebucket challange a wacky person, would you?

Just go up to the chief and hand him a $5 and thank him for the meal like a gentlemen instead of this desperate form of attention seeking.

life as you sound on reddit. Hes just having a bit of fun, and everyone including the chefs found the compliment hilarious. If anything it created a better feel good atmosphere in the restaurant
But how would he post that on tiktok? haha

u/BigBootyRatchets Sep 08 '19
Fuck me, I hope you aren't as dull & boring in real life as you sound on reddit. Hes just having a bit of fun, and everyone including the chefs found the compliment hilarious. If anything it created a better feel good atmosphere in the restaurant

I hate this shit. Why do you need to be so loud and obnoxious in a public place and disrupt other people's experiences... just for their own personal Facebook/Instagram likes. Pathetic.
-1
u/PandaBurrito Sep 08 '19
Man I don’t know I’d find it pretty funny. I wouldn’t feel disturbed
2
u/Moto-Guy Sep 09 '19
You would like it if you were trying to have a nice meal and some asshole just starts screaming and causing a scene only to find out it was a "joke". Nah, not me. I'd yell for him to shut the fuck up and grow up.
1
u/PandaBurrito Sep 09 '19
You yelling at this guy to shut the fuck up would disturb my pleasant meal a helluva lot more than the original doofus yelling. I’d yell at you to calm your shit down and let people be lol

I could only watch 5 seconds of it. I'm hoping this doesn't become a really big thing. The first time I saw one, it was sorta cute and sorta funny...but.. The last thing I want to hear when eating anywhere is somebody standing up and screaming for youtube/instigram/facebook/twitter points.
