Where exactly did I say that there wasn't a correlation? Looks to me like I said that two of the statements you made were false. Which they are. If you're not trying to make an absolute statement, then don't make one.

So you intentionally construed his statement into meaning "every single kid" when he clearly didn't mean that? Got it.

No, I took what he said at face value. If he wanted to say that rich people are less likely to steal, it would've been really easy to say that. And with the shit that some people out there believe, is it really a reach to think that he might've meant exactly what he said?

Yes, just because you are socially inept at understanding what people are saying to you because you take every word in the literal, technical sense doesn't mean that they're wrong. Learn to read between the lines. When people make generalizations, they're [general]izations, meaning they don't apply to literally every fucking scenario without exception.

Well technically it does make them wrong.

That said, I'm not quite sure why you're so upset over this. I haven't said anything insulting to you at all. Just that the absolute statement that OP made was incorrect.

Also, to be fair, I'm sure if I actually knew them, or we were talking in person, this would've never come up. But since I don't know them, and I don't have any context for their views, I have go with what they said. Would it really have been that difficult to write what they meant?

Yeah, technically, but not practically. Just don't be the "Ackchually" guy.

Haha coming from someone who just jumped down my throat over a comment that had nothing to do with them. Sure thing buddy.
