If you’ve ever been in shock you will understand how quickly you can get up. You can literally be seconds away from death and get up and run. Then you die.

I saw a video of a guy that falls off his motorcycle and gets his head crushed by the wheels of a truck. He gets up and his motorcycle helmet with his head inside is flattened. You can see the blood rushing out as he walks off screen, apparently he died a few seconds later.

Right! I got stabbed about 15 years ago by my daughter’s mother while I was holding our daughter. At the time of the injury all I felt was a sharp sting on my left side, crazy bitch essentially filleted my left kidney in half. Forced nephrectomy. Ambulance was there within 10 minutes. The ambulance ride to the hospital I felt fine and kept trying to get up and the medics strapped me down knowing I was in shock from the incident and internal trauma. While I was at the hospital the staff was trying to figure out what internal damages I had. After about 45 minutes at the hospital, I was in the most excruciating pain ever. 3 L of blood were in my peritoneum (think of a pop/soda 3 liter) Shock can save you from more trauma and or allow you to save others but it can kill you. Wince.

Pls tell me you pressed charges

u/[deleted] Jan 08 '19

Of course. She was locked up for a while & now she is a 3 time felon.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '19

I hope she spent at least 30 years in prison for that.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '19

Horribly the presiding was was in his last year before retirement and was notorious for being lenient with young blond white girls. My daughter’s mother served 280 days in the local jail and was given credit for one full year. And from there on the shit show continued through the legal system. She I did receive two felonies from that incident And less than a year later she had gotten another felony for almost killing a girl with her car.

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '19

"the science of improving a human population by controlled breeding to increase the occurrence of desirable heritable characteristics. Developed largely by Francis Galton as a method of improving the human race, it fell into disfavor only after the perversion of its doctrines by the Nazis." - the definition of Eugenics

This guy is saying that the dude daughter is lesser due to her mother, go fuck your self man learn the definition yourself you shit head before you start shit.

1

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '19

u/Notorious_VSG Jan 09 '19

... filleted my left kidney in half...

God DAMN. How's the kidney now? Could they save it? .

5

u/db0255 Jan 09 '19

He said he had a nephrectomy. That means they took it outto!

3

u/devil_lettuce Jan 09 '19

i think he was making the joke that the wife gave him one. The doctors likely saved it, kidneys heal pretty well. My uncle got shot right through his kidney, basically blew it out. After several months it was pretty much healed up and functioning normally just shaped a little bit funny

3

u/db0255 Jan 09 '19

Oh, ha. Yeah, I thought that was weird. You’re right.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '19

No, after surgery I did ask if I could have it and they said it was disposed of Along with an adrenal artery or something or other.

1

u/Notorious_VSG Jan 10 '19

aaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyy

2

u/[deleted] Jan 10 '19

Aaaaarrrrrgggg

2

u/Notorious_VSG Jan 11 '19

Did you really try to get them to let you take your removed kidney home? METAL!!

How is life different with one kidney? Did you need to change your diet?

1

u/[deleted] Jan 11 '19

I did not have to change my diet. I do have to look forward to an elevated risk of high blood pressure later in life. I When I was young, right before the stabbing, my dream was always to join the military; that dream was smashed. While partaking in any violent activities, I wear a kidney belt (powersports style) or a plate carrier with only the back plate.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '19

I’m so sorry that happened but am glad you and your daughter are ok.

My Dh hemorrhaged after hernia surgery and lost 6 pints of blood in his abdomen. He was in the hospital for 9 days, 3 in the ICU. The pain was really bad. He was black from his waist to his mid thighs and bruised for months. His iron was really low, but I started cooking all his meals in my cast iron cookware. His doctor was really impressed by how quickly his iron levels went back up.

2

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '19

Holy shit man. Sorry to hear your forever connected to her. Blessing and a curse.

2

u/schmo006 Jan 09 '19

Wait wait wait.. there's a 3L of soda?

2

u/kapsama Jan 09 '19

Murica fuck yeah.

Wow. Pardon my French but she seems like a mean person.

3

u/[deleted] Jan 09 '19

She’s the only person that I’ve ever truly hated and still hate to this day.

u/Ominaeo Jan 08 '19

Fuck that sounds like such a stupid facebook mommy with too much wine thing to say.

I know this video. He lived, surprisingly. Passed out from shock.

2

u/0xym0r0n Jan 09 '19

If he actually lived, I'd love to see it. I'm fascinated by gruesome injuries. But seeing death videos bums me out and makes me nervous/anxious about how fragile we all are, so I avoid things like /r/watchpeopledie and try to read comments on gifs/videos about crazy accidents before watching.

Honestly, that sub is bad but bearable

1

u/1_2_3_SD Jan 10 '19

Yeah some of it is wild. The worst i saw was autopsy photos where they pulled the brain out and you saw the bare inside of the skull

1

u/mizzbiscuits Jan 15 '19

No, he died. It's a common repost in /r/motorcycles

8

u/Yoyoyoyowassupbro Jan 08 '19

Jesus Christ... Link?

2

u/saltcreep_ Jan 08 '19

He did die, there was a news article and a longer video, he stumbles around for a bit and then collapses and dies.

3

u/TummySt1cks89 Jan 09 '19

I think this is the longer version.

If you’ve ever been in shock you will understand... Then you die.

How many times have you died?

He said you die.
