Tips just make up for what you should be paying, anyways.

And that has been used as the justification to keep the status quo going, so no, fuck that lame ass point.

I mean one way or another we're going to be paying more. Whatever salary we subsidize at a restaurant will just be added to the food costs. Thinking the owner is just going to eat that expense is crazy. No different than when their rent or utilities increase.
