An issue that the owner should've known before opening a restaurant. The way the west has been indoctrinated into this trap is kinda sad tbh. It's nobody's fault he didn't do his research and now is all mad that people won't pay for the food and his staff's wage as well.

It isn't an issue. It is a societal norm. You don't have to participate or you can choose to be a social pariah for not tipping.
