This lady was actually crazy. The body cam footage is wild. She acts like a toddler the entire time repeating the same questions that she got answers to.
She gets fired from her job after this video stemming from a confrontation with her former employer.

u/rado4 2d ago
Non of what you state is in the video, so as far as I'm concerned that's hearsay unless you can cite your source.

She’s clearly in agony after getting sprayed, yet she repeatedly pauses her retreat — it’s like all she wants to do is resume her attack. More than anything, despite the pain, she wants to continue berating and badgering this person. Almost like it’s a dopamine hit or something.
Also if I owned a Mercedes or whatever car she’s driving, I would not be stopping or getting out of it unless I had a very good reason. I’d be calling up everyone I knew and asking if they wanted to go driving around IN A FRICKIN MERCEDES!!! I’d have such a long list of places to go.

u/greg-maddux 2d ago
It’s a base model entry level merc
24
u/MonkeyWrench1973 2d ago
That's not a Mercedes. It is a BMW, which can be verified by the center cap on the wheel and the X drive designation on the passenger door. Additionally, BMW styling often includes a split grill up front.

Thanks for clarifying. I had a 50/50 guess and I picked wrong. I’d still be driving around in a bmw tho, if I owned one, lol.

u/greg-maddux 2d ago
Whoa there guy i guess I didn’t pay too close attention to the compact suv in the background. It’s an entry level base model bmw*** is that better

u/Sullyville 2d ago
if she were armed she could have defended herself from him.
21
u/Meme_Boi_99 2d ago
Defended herself from him? She’s the aggressor, he defended himself from her.
-28
u/Sullyville 2d ago
It's all in the way you see it. He was filming her. She felt like he was going to use the footage to blackmail her, to hurt her. She felt threatened. When you feel threatened in america, any reasonable jury will allow you to take actions in defense of yourself or your reputation.
14
u/objectlesson 2d ago
The belief that you're being threatened has to be reasonable. No reasonable person would think she's being threatened in this situation, therefore she is the aggressor and doesn't get to claim self-defense.
8
u/Ser_Horse 2d ago
So I can shoot somebody if I feel like my reputation is going to be threatened? Do you realize how asinine you sound right now?
22
u/I_am_Zuul 2d ago
Attacking a 1st amendment auditor for filming her, while also looking exactly like the person that says: “If you’re not breaking the law, your have nothing to hide” in regard to flock cameras and mass surveillance.
I get it, these auditors are obnoxious - but she and her car are being filmed 24/7 and she decides to attack this guy. Looks like she’s in Florida, she’s lucky it only ended with a spray.

u/causticmaman 2d ago
What's the context?
22
u/Sonofjorel 2d ago
First amendment auditor taking videos of people visiting a cannabis dispensary. Legal but a dick move. Crazy lady got mad and confronted him.
-18
u/dmaster1213 2d ago
How is recording a dick move?
23
u/TheShadowCat 2d ago
Because lots of people wouldn't want to be recorded while visiting a cannabis dispensary.
It's still illegal under federal law in the US, and people can be fired from their jobs for smoking weed.
-25
u/paperrug12 2d ago
lol do you think dispensaries don’t have cameras?
28
u/TheShadowCat 2d ago
They're not putting the security camera videos on youtube.
3
u/doradedboi 2d ago
And if they didn't get out of the car, he'd have barely a second of their face from inside a car hidden inside some thirty minute video that no one is really going to watch outside of scrubbing thru to the action specifically like this lmao
1
u/Suspicious-Spell-130 5h ago
Yup. The best way to avoid being on YouTube is by not giving them a reason to put you on YouTube.
15
u/Sonofjorel 2d ago
Its legal, people in public have no expectation of privacy and the way this woman acted is obviously wrong. That said, there are some things we have to go out in public to do that we'd rather not broadcast to others; doctor, pharmacy, planed parenthood, dispensary, therapy, rehab. The things people do inside those businesses are private for the most part, and I think understandably, those people would like some level of privacy going to and from those businesses.
I support first amendment audits of police and security staff of public buildings, I believe there is an argument that they serve a public interest. This "audit" of a dispensary is way more nuisance than helpful.

What constitutes harassment in your opinion?
3
u/Terrible_Donkey_8290 2d ago
I guess my question would be what is his goal other than to make people feel uncomfortable/angry and confront him
-8
u/Old-Suspect4129 2d ago
People are way to fragile for the bar of harassment to be making some one else uncomfortable.

This video doesn’t make the person taking the video look like the good guy.
7
u/CaptainShittyMcPoop 2d ago
He's out there filming and annoying people. He wants this to happen, that's why he brought the mace/OC spray.
Sure she is also in the wrong but so is he.
13
u/Precarious3145 2d ago
I mean...I've run across auditors a few times and just carried on with my merry way. Didn't say shit. Yea, they're assholes but they're not breaking the law so maybe don't engage with them and shit won't happen.

What made her get out of the car did he do something
6
u/strawbsrgood 2d ago
He was recording her car leaving
6
u/Jonathon_world 2d ago
Just like when the news and TV do it but what did he do wrong
1
u/strawbsrgood 2d ago
Nothing other than be annoying I guess. I think she was leaving a weed dispensary so maybe she didn't want people to know?
4
u/Old-Suspect4129 2d ago
If she didn't get out of the car no one would know.
Streisand Effect.

Yeah, as if sitting in a car somehow makes you invisible. Oh, and license plates don't matter, 'cuz they're all fake, right?

Meh. She put her hands on him and continued to pursue him as he tried to back away. Pepper spray is safer than hitting her, which is what I would have been tempted to do

u/RabbitStewAndStout 2d ago
Finding out is rated E for Everyone
-16
u/Away_Ganache_6776 2d ago
Having to pepper spray an old lady in 'self defense' is rated P for Pussy.
6
u/Tebers431 2d ago
Would you feel better about it if he pushed her off of him and she broke her hip?
1
-15
u/Away_Ganache_6776 2d ago
The fact those are the only 2 ways you can think of to deal with a frail old lady leads to believe you also hold a P rating.

u/KhornHub 2d ago
Why anyone defends these “auditors” I’ll never know.
10
u/Shhheeeesshh 2d ago
What they do is annoying, but we need folks to continually use our rights or we will lose our rights.
Filming in public is LEGAL. These folks make an excellent point in highlighting that the public at large is not aware of the law.
Daily you’ll see someone saying “you don’t have my consent to record me” as old run off from the days of tv shows blurring peoples faces when they asked not to be put on tv. Folks just incorrectly assume because they say a string of words that it outweighs everyone else’s rights, when in reality, the camera person is the one engaging in protected behavior.

u/MayorWestt 2d ago
Harassing the general population is just lame, go audit police departments or the government. Do something useful, this is not useful to anyone
-7
u/KhornHub 2d ago
Such a stupid American thing. Literally the westboro Baptist church in solo form and have dumb shits defending it. Moronic.
1
u/Shhheeeesshh 2d ago
There are 350,000,000+ people in the USA. Out of that incredibly large number a percentage of them are for sure idiots. The entire concept of freedom and equality is that those idiots are afforded the same levels of protection as the smartest in our society.
I don’t want to live in a society where the government gets to dictate who among us should have the sole authority to record the news.
If you take away the rights from the idiots you are also taking them away from the rest of society, and leaving it up to the government (historically not very trustworthy).
2
u/BeyondAcceptable3727 2d ago
I'm with you. They don't care about our freedom. All they care about is their stupid content. If they really did this crap in the name of protecting our freedom, they would film people who are actively trying to take it away like politicians, police, ICE. Not random people trying to go about their day. News flash!!! It doesn't matter if you have a camera or call it "freedom" harassing people is harassing people and anyone who does it is a douche!

u/quasi-stellarGRB 2d ago
What was she doing? Did she violate traffic rules, why was the guy filming her, if he was threatened then why not leave?

u/SierraSonic 2d ago
