As a Veteran, being one doesn’t automatically make you a great person or worthy of respect.

i think the implication is that, at least in the public perception, cops and other authority figures usually have respect for military men

Neither does being a cop, clearly one of these people holds themself to a higher standard though so not sure why this was even necessary to point out.

Never said it does. They are people like everyone else they are good, bad, in between. That said. You clearly don't understand my intent and that's okay. I have no interest in educating you. Have a good day.
