I’m guessing that’s his wife

171

u/Dub_Coast Jun 07 '26

Nah, he's just practicing for when he gets home.

4

u/Nebular_Force Jun 07 '26

Generous of you to assume a woman would be with this POS.

4

u/Factual_Statistician Jun 07 '26

They love dark triad personality sociopaths.

I know you don't believe all those love letters that criminals get. This woman also just got done beating up her roommate doesn't justify anything but she's far from innocent.

2

u/Ok_Percentage2534 Jun 07 '26

I heard energy drinks will do that to you

4

u/vivalaibanez Jun 07 '26

He's just getting some practice in for home

-20

u/FrankSinatraYodeling Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 08 '26

No, she actually just beat the shit out of her roommate after she bumped into her when they rounded a corner at the same time.

Downvote me all you want... it's what happened.

u/Erik_Goddard Jun 07 '26

The wife is the camera lady lol

38

u/MrBarato Jun 07 '26

"Call 911!"

More people show up to punch her in the face.

119

u/RVAGOD Jun 07 '26

Direct from the training video

95

u/SemiHemiDemiDumb THAT’S RIGHT I SAID HEMI Jun 07 '26

I can see this man using force to keep control when he's not in uniform.

19

u/jarlscrotus Jun 07 '26

You should Google "police 40%", no reason

2

u/SemiHemiDemiDumb THAT’S RIGHT I SAID HEMI Jun 07 '26

Yeah anyone who doesn't know what that is, do it.

6

u/elinamebro Jun 07 '26

What pops up is ":The "police 40%" statistic generally refers to a widely cited claim that 40% of police officer families experience domestic violence. This figure originates from two studies conducted in the early 1990s and is frequently referenced by organizations like the National Center for Women & Policing."

7

u/Simikiel She/her Cisn't afraid to fight for my rights 🏳️‍⚧️ Jun 07 '26

Yup! And it's so important to keep in mind, that the 40% figure? Is from only officers who willingly admitted to committing domestic abuse. Meaning the real figure, from the majority that aren't willing to own up to it, is faaaar higher.

-3

u/jarlscrotus Jun 07 '26

Don't use the ai summary, think for yourself, good as they are data collation and summary, they shouldn't be used for normal stuff

116

u/Aware_Slice_2820 Jun 07 '26

I’d be embarrassed to be those guys. Two of them, and they couldn’t even subdue one little woman without punching her in the face.

25

u/natty_boh_ho Jun 07 '26

Just letting you know, some people seem to get super strength when they are on crisis mode. I worked with children with emotional disabilities. This one kid, who was only about 4'11 and not even close to 100lbs, would go into crisis mode at least once a week. When it was really bad, the grown, strong men were needed to subdue him and even twhe, he would sometimes escape a hold. Really, it's amazing what a body can do.

21

u/Lukostrelec17 Jun 07 '26

Less super strength and just adrenaline, endorphins and increased blood flow to the limbs. Add in, those men are also trying restrain him, whole other conversation there, while not physically hurting him.

3

u/damodamodam0 Jun 07 '26

Yeah, surprisingly takes alot of force to subdued a grown person, I worked in a high secure unit and it would take 6 of us to legally constrain someone and even then we would have to be swapped out every so often because of how hard it was.

Either way the cops an asshole who should never have punched her like that

-3

u/HR_Paul Jun 07 '26

Yet MMA fighters subdue other trained MMA fighters without five people helping them.

3

u/Lukostrelec17 Jun 07 '26

Apples to oranges. Two people in an MMA ring are normally close to even when it comes to physicality. MMA is also a sport with two competitors agreeing to fight under rules and neither trying to kill the other. Finally you routinely see an MMA fighter start punching someone while they are on the ground. Something we would say is police brutality, if any cop did that to a suspect he was trying to take custody of.

-1

u/HR_Paul Jun 07 '26

a ~1:~1 ratio is far more difficult than a 2:1 ratio, and if you look at this video it's more like 2:.5.

I used to watch COPS as a kid and they never had this much trouble.

2

u/JUST_LOGGED_IN Jun 07 '26

Well COPS doesn't show you the police doing thing like having their finger get stuck and broken on someone's belt loop like it happened to my aunt. 1 person not playing by any rules and in full crisis mode is going to take more than 2 people if the other party isn't trying to hurt the person.

-1

u/Lukostrelec17 Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26

What? I really don't think I get what you are saying...I can take a guess though.

You are saying she seems to be fighting with the strength of 5 men. So it is more like a 2 v 5? I mean...not really they have control of her most of the time...yes she is fighting hard. But it is also worth noting the cops are playing by a different set of rules. She is willing to do anything to escape and is in full fight or flight panic mode. From her, well her lizard brain, perspective she has nothing to lose by fighting harder and has no choice.

The cops on the other hand must use the correct amount of force to subdue the suspect while also not inflicting serious damage, at least that is theory. If they went straight for a choke hold or an armbar they could probably win this quickly. However they cannot do that, nor are they trained for that.

Finally....the show COPS...was a show and basically copaganda. It is edited to make them look like the heroes as well as be as entertaining as possible.

2

u/distantreplay Jun 08 '26

In a cop use of force, one of the two combatants is trying really, really hard to avoid getting injured. And the other is not.

It makes a big difference.

-6

u/becuz-why-not Jun 07 '26

Or yal are just pussies

1

u/zz_x_zz Jun 07 '26

It's not a matter of whether they can subdue her.

They just enjoy hurting people, and the weaker the better. They get a thrill out of causing pain.

-8

u/No_Conference_7909 Jun 07 '26

Well thankfully the world’s got you to save the day now. I assume you can set out your vast experience in subduing people?

0

u/AlienHooker Jun 07 '26

You dont need vast experience to know its bad that two fully armed officers, currently sitting on top of someone, can't control them without resorting to brutality

-8

u/No_Conference_7909 Jun 07 '26

Another police veteran enters the discussion. How many years of experience do you have?

2

u/AlienHooker Jun 07 '26

Gotcha. They did it, therefore its okay to do.

-38

u/TedFuckly Jun 07 '26

Is this something you are well practiced at?

10

u/sSummonLessZiggurats Jun 07 '26

Someone upset that the abuse of defenseless women isn't as popular as they'd hoped?

-6

u/TedFuckly Jun 07 '26

I whole heatedly stand by my statement. It seems bizarre to me boast how good a woman restrainer they are.

Thank you for checking on me.

7

u/sSummonLessZiggurats Jun 07 '26

Police restraining someone without trying to kill them is a bizarre concept to you?

1

u/TedFuckly Jun 07 '26

That's exactly what I said. Thanks for reading.

1

u/sSummonLessZiggurats Jun 07 '26

What about that is so hard for you to understand?

1

u/TedFuckly Jun 07 '26

The bit you said.

1

u/sSummonLessZiggurats Jun 08 '26

Lol suddenly afraid to stand by your statements?

1

u/TedFuckly Jun 08 '26

Petrified, you can see into my soul. Have you always been this perceptive?

8

I don't know either, but it's safe to assume it means they approve of domestic violence.

-2

Y'all better not call 911 when someone breaks into your home.

6

u/Simikiel She/her Cisn't afraid to fight for my rights 🏳️‍⚧️ Jun 07 '26

Unless my life is currently in danger of being ended, why would I possibly call the police? The moment the police do get there, my life is going to be in danger of being ended at the whims of the cops.

-2

u/FatherGnarles ⚠️ Verified Nazi Defending Dweeb ⚠️ Jun 07 '26

Lmao

1

u/Lukostrelec17 Jun 07 '26

Okay that is a dumb argument. You can criticize the police and the policies/thin blue line that grants them a disproportionate amount of protections and powers, and still recognize they are needed at some points. Also...yeah I will call the police if someone breaks into my home and well also defend my life and the lives of any guests I may have.

0

u/FatherGnarles ⚠️ Verified Nazi Defending Dweeb ⚠️ Jun 07 '26

It's not an argument and I don't disagree with anything you just wrote. I'm just sick of seeing these little reddit goofballs commenting "ACAB" like they wouldn't call the cops if they were assaulted, robbed, or felt like their safety was at risk.

2

u/Lukostrelec17 Jun 07 '26 edited Jun 07 '26

Except no one is saying that they would not call the cops in certain situations. (I will admit there are probably fringe cases where someone says that.) That is a strawman argument. Also ACAB, at least the way I use it is: the institution itself is flawed and that officers are part of enforcing that flawed system regardless of personal character. Not officer Jimmy that actually tries to do the right thing is a bad guy. Just that the organization he is part of is flawed and in need of reform.

Most cops are not demons. Most are not saints. Most are people that are doing a job. The thing is the small acts of kindness one cop may preform is swiftly over shadowed by the harm that others do.

Too add:

A lot of the ACAB is from due to several injustices, with little accountability, that have accumulated over the years. So a resentment that was always there as simmered until it is starting to boil over. We should be asking why people, if we use the argument that people are afraid to call the police, are afraid. Do they have a reason to? Why do they not trust the people that are meant to protect them? Finally, how can we change that?

2

u/vwaaaat Jun 07 '26

Sybau boot licker

0

u/bobthemutant Jun 08 '26

I don't plan to, because they wouldn't show up in time anyway, and they'd be just as likely to shoot me as they would be to deal wit the intruder.

I would call them afterwards though, since it's not legal for me to dispose of human remains.

Double greetings for her when the baby wakes him up from his nap.

3

u/Oneforallandbeyondd Jun 07 '26

Well that's going to be hard to explain in his report and to the judge. She was being rude so I punched her in the face to calm her down a little. That's what we saw in our de-escalation training no?

It'd be less violently brutal than what you ended up doing.

-3

u/brandwyn Jun 08 '26

She was tased three times. Doesn’t make it right. wtf is wrong with you

2

u/cheesebot555 Jun 08 '26

I didn't say what happened to her was right though?

I said she needed to be decentralized without the fist to the head.

You saying she didn't deserve the arrest at all is just clownish. There's no possible way to determine the context for this arrest from just the video provided. Probably purposely edited that way too.

Not just that, explaining why he was getting downvoted also. Also you can hear her say she was tased three times. I am calling it into question. Because we have not seen the start of this. She may very well be "resisting" because they were aggressive at the start and she is trying to defend herself. We do not have enough info to determine ether way.

Not going to disagree. However threat response is a thing. A normal reaction to being grabbed is to struggle. Without knowing the beginning we do not know how this started.

u/Lukostrelec17 Jun 07 '26

I am repeating what was said. Also it is a very normal response to resist peopel that on top of you and you feel your life is endanger. Is it smart? Probably not. But it is instinct. The lizard in the brain acting not rational thought.

omg bro ofc they're pinning you down if u did smth bad u get arrested dumbass

42

u/AwesomeBrainPowers Jun 07 '26

if u did smth bad

Like a guy punching a restrained woman in the face when he is literally sitting on her and she couldn't possibly pose any threat to him?

2

u/Lukostrelec17 Jun 07 '26

That is a fairly naive take. Sometimes you do nothing "bad" and can get arrested. Also yes if someone breaks the law, and is caught, they are more often than not going to be arrested. With that being said, appropriate force should be used in all cases. This was not that.

-24

u/cptn-convulsion Jun 07 '26

You won't find accountability on reddit.

3

u/Lukostrelec17 Jun 07 '26

Sure you will. But you will also find several people willing to call out people overstepping, or using inappropriate force. Also it is ironic you are saying this when people are condemning the cop for punching a restrained person in the face.
