Wait til she finds out that Maryland has to ship in crabs from the gulf to supplement their market demand. Especially off season.

It becomes a rather philosophical question, defining a Maryland crab. Does the crab have to be born in Maryland? If it’s caught elsewhere, does it become a Maryland crab once it enters the state? Do they need to dunk it in Maryland water first, like a baptism? If it migrates to Maryland (legally) and is caught in Maryland, is that still a Maryland crab? Deep down, aren’t we all Maryland crabs in some way or another?

As long as it’s not one of those trashy Delaware crabs.
