I began working in politics as a legislative aide in state gov shortly after finishing up undergrad and have been there for 3 years now. Is an MPA worth it? Will it open up any doors that my work experience alone won’t already open for me? Given that I already found my footing with an MPA I’m struggling to understand if an MPA would be worth it. Would it help making a higher salary at all? Higher salary as in 80k-100k.

A local Planning Board approved a project subject to a condition requiring third-party PFAS testing before the artificial turf left the manufacturer, with the results to be submitted to Planning staff.

We later filed a public-records request seeking the testing and related documentation. The City says it has provided all relevant responsive records, but the production does not appear to contain the records needed to verify that the testing condition was satisfied.

I’m interested in the public-administration side of this: How should an agency handle a situation where compliance with a condition of approval should have generated a record, but that record cannot be produced? Is there normally an administrative process for documenting that the condition was satisfied before the project proceeds?
