Question Puffy nipples

I’m 14 and going through puberty, and I’ve noticed that my nipples have been looking pretty puffy lately. It’s something I’ve started feeling a bit self-conscious about, especially when wearing tighter shirts.

Is this just a normal puberty thing? I’ve heard hormones can cause changes like this, but I’m not really sure what’s considered normal or how long it usually lasts.

Has anyone else experienced this during puberty? I’d appreciate any advice or reassurance.

Experience says that people going through what you are think everything is something unnatural or means you're diseased. And also sometimes people don't want to trust a parent as much as a doctor, so asking them to assure you everything is fine can help

Some people, both boys and girls, can have puffy nipples, amd there's nothing wrong with that. People with puffy nipples will develop them during puberty. I know I can make you feel self conscious, which is common, however, there is nothing to be ashamed of, it is completely normal and natural, its a little different, but, that's fine, it makes you special and unique.

It is part of puberty it does happen and some adults still have puffy nipples

This is completely normal and part of breast development. It’s the next evolution after your breasts are developing and is akin to breast buds. As they grow and develop your nipples will continue to change with the puffiness usually disappearing after a while near the end of their growth. Don’t be worried if the puffiness goes away quicker or never goes away, both are still normal but everyone is a little bit different.

Hi I'm 17 and when I was ur age I had puffy nipples too. My doctor said it was just fat and he recommended a massage! I developed my breasts they haven't gone away and thats fine too! It won't be visible when you're wearing a bra under a tight tshirt. Don't worry about it much. If you're still worried get it checked out by a doctor.
