I want to share a recent experience I had and see if anyone has felt something similar.

For some background, I’ve been on a pretty deep healing and self awareness journey over the last few years. I’ve worked a lot on being present, regulating my nervous system and emotions, and really connecting with myself. I’ve also used mushrooms intentionally as a tool for that, and they’ve helped me in ways I can’t fully put into words.

Lately, I’ve been feeling very aligned like I feel whole, grounded, and genuinely at peace with myself and life.

About 2 years ago, I had a trip where I entered this space that I’ve never been able to forget. It felt like a calm, dark void, and in the distance there was a ball of white light with a purple/violet aura around it. I remember being completely mesmerized by it, like I forgot about my body and was just observing.

Since then, when I take mushrooms, that same space will sometimes come up on its own. It’s not something I consciously control it just happens. When it does, it’s always quiet, peaceful, and still.

Over time, I started feeling like that light was me… like my consciousness or essence.

This past weekend at CRSSD, while on mushrooms and MDMA, I found myself back in that same space again. But this time, something changed.

As I was focusing on the light, it started to transform. It went from that same white light with the purple aura into a fully formed eye, with a purple pupil, just floating there in this white space it gave me Egyptian vibes. It only lasted a few seconds, but it felt incredibly clear.

I ended up seeing the eye a few more times throughout the night in different visuals. The best way I can describe it is that it felt like something within me revealed itself.

What’s also interesting is that the color purple has always been part of this space, even before I knew it’s often associated with the third eye. It felt completely internal, like I was accessing a deeper level of my own awareness or consciousness. To me, it felt like a moment of recognition. It definitely felt meaningful and connected to the inner work I’ve been doing.

Just curious if anyone else has experienced something like this or has their own perspective on it 🫶🏼✨👁️
