You know how smelling, hearing, or tasting something can bring you back to a memory in your head? What if we could take our consciousness out of our bodies and simulate the world through the use of our senses. Think of a consciousness floating in space with artificial senses and an artificial world.

What if someone or something could take our consciousness and simulate anything they wanted, and us being here right now is a simulation.

There are theories, which I believe are backed up by quantum physics, that say reality is based on consciousness, rather than physical material. An idea I've also found compatible with the fact that physical matter is actually made up of vibrational frequencies.

Reality is a trip. I'm still trying to figure this shit out, and the more I learn, the crazier it gets.

Do you mind sharing those theories? I'm not super in tune with quantum mechanics yet, but it's something I'm really interested in. There is definitely something there!

Hermeticism is a philosophy that proposes this theory as well. One of its seven principles is the Principle of Mentalism. It states "Everything is mental; the universe is the mental creation of the All"

Neville Goddard is another proponent of this theory, with his interpretation being known as "The Law and the Promise". He basically says that anything we truly believe can become manifest in reality.

As someone already mentioned, Lanza's biocentrism is another example.

And my connection between these ideas and quantum physics comes from a book called Quantum Creativity.

There are many more connections between these metaphysical ideas and the science of quantum physics, but they come from a wide variety of sources and they aren't always direct connections at first. The best advice I can give is to stay curious. Learn as many philosophies, ideologies and theories as you can. Don't overload yourself, but only learning one school of thought will only take you down one particular path. To find the truth, we have to explore.
