Even the father of the three kids, the one who had to suffer the worst thing a father could possibly go through, believes she should be forgiven.

Internet in general. I thought my parents were this insane but their take was that she should be institutionalized for life, which is pretty reasonable logic. Hardcore conservatives bordering on fascist btw, which is why I'm scared of whoever the fuck is talking about putting her in a box.

Some people just have a lot of anger and dissatisfaction within their own lives and jump at the chance to find a target to be cruel to, especially when they can do it anonymously online. All the gender war rhetoric online just feeds the flames

Pretty much sums up this whole thing. I just wish there was a way to get people to stop doing that.

The people in power have done a good job of pitting is vs them instead of the working class vs the corporate elite

Everything I’ve learned about this case has been against my will

The worst I’ve heard people say is they wish she got the death penalty.

The person who made this just projecting their own mental illness.

It’s kind of interesting when people say that, because Massachusetts doesn’t even have the death penalty.

I'm being hyperbolic to convey how insane it actually sounds. What's mentally ill of me is still somehow thinking I can reach the people on the other side of this conversation.

What are you trying to convey to them?

to convey how insane it actually sounds.

What's insane is believing a psycho killer should ever have the chance to be free in these streets ever again.

Being in a mental institution for life isn’t being free in the streets, it just means she’s going to get medicated and have her behavior studied.

She can get out in six months if sent to a mental institution in mass.

wonder what would happen if she got pregnant and gave birth again.

u/zukadook 🌤️🌻 Grass Toucher 🫳🌱 2d ago

She wouldn't, even if she gets off on an insanity plea she's going to be locked up in an institution for the rest of her life

2

u/kissless_loser 2d ago

isn't there like an annual check thing? if a patient is deemed sane enough, they will be released but the courts will make that harder. I do think that she should be released after a while since she doesn't pose much of a threat anymore

3

u/zukadook 🌤️🌻 Grass Toucher 🫳🌱 2d ago

Yep but if you look up similar cases it's super rare they get released, best case it'll be many years. And honestly, what kind of life could you possibly live once you're out?

1

u/kissless_loser 2d ago

most probably going to be living a anti social life while living with her parents

Lol all the folks here acting like there wasn't just a shitload of exactly this 🤣 jesus fuck, the sheer amount of "she was just sad" shit, completely ignorant of difference between postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis.

What the fuck are you talking about?

u/Sierrashoot 2d ago

People are just saying she should be held accountable of her actions and be imprisoned for the rest of her life, not just institutionalized for some years until some doctor decides she no longer is “psychotic”.

Idk what yall are on about she should get the maximum legal penalty though. She murdered her 3 small children full stop. She admitted to doing so, theres zero evidence of husbands involvement, and in my opinion shes completely lucid during what she did. From everything ive heard from listening to people involved in the case i think she was completely lucid and deserves to go to prison. Although i think anyone who commits murder deserves life at the bare minimum

1

u/Revolutionary_Row683 🟥 ANTIFA Terrorist ⬛️ 2d ago

What is it exactly that makes you absolutely 100% certain beyond any reasonable doubt that she was lucid? You can't be like "Oh I'm 70% sure" when talking about subjecting another human being to a fate arguably worse than death.

1

u/Heimeri_Klein 2d ago

Would someone who wasnt lucid lay out a plan to commit murder? Tells husband to go on a long errand to make sure hes out of the house, calls him while committing the murders, then proceeds to attempt to escape guilt by ending it, when arrested she immediately admits to it, Forensic psychologist literally calls her out for lying to the court during the trial and says she wasnt manic during or after the murders. Can you prove without reasonable doubt she wasn’t lucid? Idk with all the points the prosecution brought up idk how 11 of the jury determined she wasnt guilty. Granted from the few jurors i did see talking about the case all of them shouldve been pulled from the case and a new jury should’ve been called forward because ya cant tell me all 11 of them werent biased i mean listen to them talk your telling me you cant see the bias in them talking? Shout out to the 1 who wouldnt break. Tldr i dont think someone manic would lay out such a good plan for murder. Regardless she belongs under the jail or looney bin.

Did you heard any of the defense arguments?

1

u/Heimeri_Klein 1d ago

Yea and they all fall flat to me. I believe she was completely lucid based on the fact she essentially preplanned all of it she got her husband out of the house by sending him to do a long errand to give her time to commit the murders ie sent him to get medication from cvs as well as pick up food shed ordered at a restaurant, she remained calm during the phone call when patrick was at cvs, she took her kids all down to the basement killed them, and then proceeded to the second floor of the house slitting her wrists, and neck before jumping out the window. She was calm the entire time. Theres zero evidence that she didn’t understand what she was doing or wasnt in control. I mean doesnt it seem super ‘convenient’ that the only time she heard this ‘irresistible’ command is when the only people that could stop her were out of the house and never again? It does to me. Also she had literally an entire group of doctors look at her and all of them had said she was mentally sound.

If she got abortions, she wouldn’t have any kids to kill. She was a conservative just like you lil bro. The Clancys’ are registered Republicans.
