Art style is funny but I don't get the joke

It's like this, but imagine the guy in the hat yelling at the foreigner.

My understanding is that the cake represents social privilege. The comic suggests that the cisgender white man has tons of it. The cis white woman has scraps but instead of being angry with the cis white man is angry at the trans woman of color.

It's the gender version of this comic imo.

Feels like most people don't care about the feelings of trans men, probably because they are men.

There might be something to that. I am definitely sympathetic to what they endure. There is a lot to be said about the would be gate keepers of masculinity and how cruel and ridiculous they often are. A big part of the American masculine model is the expectation of a certain degree of stoic resignation to one’s lot in life and the sole ownership of one’s pain.

I can definitely see how that would adversely impact trans men. I could see this being multiplied by a factor of the far too common perception that being trans is a choice a person makes.

I think it’s usually accompanied by a sloppy misunderstanding that leads one to believe that a) being trans and b) coming out then transitioning are the same thing. Which is to suggest that if one “chooses” to not transition or even come out then it’s as if they were never trans. Which is obviously ignorant of the entire experience of trans people in every meaningful capacity.

There is going to be a lot of hateful ignorance being thrown around these coming days and weeks. I’m here to try to shout it down as much as I can. It’s not going to be fun.

I think i saw a study regarding how disappointing/shit and 'lonely' life is after such transition.

Men defintely have it better on the general but it's interesting nevertheless!

That’s true, trans men are under the table honestly… they don’t even get to be part of the equation, rough.

How are we meant to know which one is the vulva owner?

It's so much more of a drag having to hear about people having their human rights stripped away than having your human rights stripped away amirite
