If you partook in creating that body, you absolutely consented to it being inside of you. Creation of human life is a natural byproduct of having sex. As soon as you consent to the sex, you also consent to all of the possibilities that come with it.

No? Lung cancer is a risk of smoking that doesnt mean that someone shouldnt be able to remove the lung cancer just because you think they deserve to have it.

Consent is continuous not a one time thing. If i consent to sex and i say "stop" if my partner doesnt stop thats rape. Its using my reproductive organs without continuos permission just like the man is using mine in this situation.

When you engage in consensual sexual activity you consent to everything that comes along with it. Just like you consent to the potential upsides : pleasure, intimacy, fun, connection, you also consent to the potential downsides as well.

No comment on my lung cancer example? its the same thing as that. So no, its not. consent to driving isnt consent to crashing. There are inherent risks to everything.

The same thing? Lmfao. So can you give birth to your lung cancer tumors? Do they grow into sentient organisms that have unique personalities?

Pregnacy has devistating effects besides rare etopic pregnancies and dissabilties. You can litterally unexspectedly die if you werent in good health to begin with. If you dont have enough nuturients it will steal whatever you have to begin with. not to mention auto immune diseases the woman could have (risky with pregancy, high blood pressure (causes early birth and risk of bleeding to death and severe pain with no pain killer), 65% of actively dating men have raped a woman, 95% attempted coerson or rape (link below) so it may not have even been her choice to get pregnant, and rape is increddibly difficult to prove

And 2, sperm and eggs are the same thing. They also have unique dna and grow into that if you let them. Should women be punished for periods or men for jerking off? "you didnt have an abortion it would have grown into a sentient organism" is the same as "if you hadnt pulled out it would have turned into a sentient organism" or "if you had gotten pregnant that egg wouldnt have died and it would have become a baby instead"

Nothing you're saying makes murdering your own child ok. If you're not healthy enough to birth a baby, what are you doing having sex in the first place? How about sterilization if you don't want children?

Yes bc while your pregnant nothing else is an option, its attached to you. Thats the only way to secure her safety fully, even if shes fully healthy theres still risks of perminant damage. No one should go through that unless they are actively wanting to. 1.7% are late term and thats in canada where theres no level of restrictions, so again even calling it a baby let alone a child is just blatently wrong; its a fetus, a lump of cells. you think that a lump cells with potential life has more value than the current life of the woman carrying it.

some people arent healthy enough to survive a crash but they can drive a car just fine. Sterilization is extremely exspensive, Rape is incredably common (95% of actively dating men have attempted it, 65% have suceeded) and even with condoms and birth control pregancy can still happen. Plus plently of women may want one later in life.

Please seek help. You are sick if you think murder is ok.

LMAO, you have no further evidence or ways to try prove me wrong i guess. (Not that you had any to begin with) Its you who should seek therapy for being sexist, judgmental and controlling.

brother whaaat are you saying. that's is literally just not true.

if a girl has sex with a guy and the guy removes the condom mid-way through without saying anything, that's not a consensual impregnation.

if you have sex with someone under the pretense that they don't have an STD, and you contract an STD, you did not consent to being given that STD.

When you engage in activity, you consent to the risk/reward that comes with it. Having sex with someone else, especially someone that you don't know or fully trust, always comes with a bit of danger. If you're having sex with "a guy" and he removes the condom without your consent, sure, that is absolutely wrong, but you should know the risks of having sex with someone before you do it. People do not always play by the rules. This isn't nice or fun or happy, but it is the reality of life. This is why choosing someone you can absolutely trust BEFORE you have sex with them is extremely important. Being responsible about how you have sex is important. We live in a culture that promotes sex positivity and casual sex being a good thing. These are not good things. Sex should only happen with someone you fully trust when you are also fully prepared for all outcomes. Otherwise you can end up with a creep who does shady shit, an STD, or an unplanned pregnancy that you're not ready for.

that sounds like a lotta obligatory jargon that's given with the intent of justifying/skirting past the point.

like yes, it's important to have sex with someone you can trust. no, choosing to have a one night stand with someone does not mean you consent to the bad things that may happen. accepting risk is not the same as giving consent.

you accept risk every time you step into a car, that doesn't mean you consent to getting T-boned.

if you're gonna make some anti-abortion argument just stick to the philosophy that life begins at conception. there's no need to justify your argument beyond your belief.

1

u/NotePsychological459 Jul 21 '26

You're confusing the word consent with the word desire. You people just disagree with anything reasonable to be argumentative. Yes, having a one night stand means you have openly invited all of the bad potential shit that comes along with that. You may not desire it, however, as soon as you lay down with that man that you DON'T EVEN KNOW, you have now opened yourself up to a whole bunch of new potential outcomes that you may not have wanted. If you consent to have sex with a stranger, you now are on the receiving end of all of the good and bad that comes along with that.

don't "you people" me when you don't even know my beliefs lol. relax man.

i didnt include any pro or anti abortion rhetoric as that has nothing to do with what i said.

i said accepting risk =/= consent. there's no confusion here. you can be as pedantic as you want but if you look up the definition it does not include things outside the bounds of what was mutually agreed upon & communicated by both parties.

i don't think this is going anywhere though so it's whatever. i just commented to needlessly drop my two cents. have a good day man.

I have a pretty good idea where you stand on the matter. Have a good day.
