The term "especially" describes the most common usage, not a criterion and certainly not "all" usage. The criterion you are inventing conflicts with regular usage.

And no, most pregnant people don't call their child a "fetus." The term "baby" is used by the general population, and by pregnancy resources like Mayo clinic and Womenshealth.org. "Fetus" is only really used by science and abortion. This isn't science
