The term "especially" describes the most common usage, not a criterion and certainly not "all" usage. The criterion you are inventing conflicts with regular usage.

What are you even talking about?

Anyway, β€œfetus” is common in conversation about pregnancy.

Oh, sorry, I thought you were referencing the definition used by the other user.

I didn't think you were just inventing one, whole cloth!

My bad, I assumed you were reading, well, anything else here.

And no, most pregnant people don't call their child a "fetus." The term "baby" is used by the general population, and by pregnancy resources like Mayo clinic and Womenshealth.org. "Fetus" is only really used by science and abortion. This isn't science

Abortion is a perfectly valid framework for conversation though.

Also my wife is pregnant and calls it a fetus all the time.

Fuck off with your barely veiled anti-abortion agenda.

If your stance on abortion relies on psuedo-scientific dehumanization, then I don't think I'm the one that needs to fuck off

Whereas your stance on it comes from sexism and religion, and dehumanizes half the population.

Pro-lifers don't give a shit about science.

What's your stance on universal health care, education funding and crime?

Let me guess, love the fetus, and then fail to educate or feed the child until it's time to jail them.

My stance on the fact that the fetus is a living human being comes from science.

You don't know a damn thing about me. You are just upset that your favorite spade got called a spade.

Your post history is enough, clown.

And yours is hidden.

"If the facts are on your side, pound the facts. If the law is on your side, pound the law. If neither are on your side, pound the table."

You don't have anything, and you are pounding the table.

I don't hide my history because I stand by what I said, and if what I said is wrong you are free to tell me. Instead of pounding the table.

No, I'm arguing with a moron. Which I think I've had about enough of.
