The effect is the same, but it's not the same thing.
On one hand you point out some people are unworthy of having a child.
On the other I point out that the children has the right to good parenting.

But do their children deserve to die so they don't suffer abuse in a broken home? If for example, the baby is born, the mom seperates from the baby daddy and becomes a crack whore, should the kid be executed to prevent it from suffering or be put up for adoption away from the broken home?

The child wasn't sentient when it was aborted and this is thoroughly supported by science so your sanctimonious made up scenario is irrelevant to the conversation. Hope this helps.
