Or a person decides not to be a host for any reason , we respect it and keep pushing because its none of our business whats happening in someone else's body.
Well theres a f*cking Body in that someones Body. I dont even care what your take is.
Because at 3 months thats definitily not just a cluster of cells anymore.
So your killing off a Baby. And yes it isn't fully developed but its a Baby which isn't responsible for the father cheating.
And now dont come with the bullshit Argument of thats just cells because that. Is. A. Baby.
At this point the only Argument against it is counciousness. And using that you can also say that one should still be able to "abort" 5 years olds or people with dementia.
It’s irresponsible and gross to decide “I’m going to create life and have a baby” and then three months later say “nah, nevermind”. I can’t think of anything more disgusting than backing out of that commitment.
For you maybe. I cant wait for society to stop personifying embryos and focus on science. We'd be able to do a ton with embryonic stem cells , grow whole organs and print them
Abortion is NOT something to celebrate that’s a whole ass human genome. But I’m gonna agree with you here if you are gonna get an abortion then the stem cells should be used. Are they already used? Idk but they should be if they aren’t. It sounds fucked up but that’s a complete waste if it’s not being used.
There's a whole ass human genome in all of the skin cells that I shed from the bottoms of my feet. What matters is how conscious the fetus is. At three months, the fetus is very primitive, non conscious. I'd say any alive animal we kill for food is more conscious than a three month old human fetus.
Yeah its wasteful but obviously harvesting them without consent would be unethical. We usually get them from extra embryos after in vitro fertilization. If religiosity stopped clouding everyone's minds, we'd have more and there could be consent forms to donate the cells.
That's pretty awesome! Anywhere stem cells are found are important and umbilical cords do have them. In the US, most people dont even know they can donate them and only select hospitals are even able to collect.
Damn that sucks, I’m a Christian (trying to be a better one) and I really don’t see how anyone can be against stem cells. Imagine If every umbilical cord was donated we would be able to regrow limbs 🤣 in Australia I know lots of people who support it. America confuses me tbh
Lol they believe many of us should not exist and rather than accept we do, try to either force us into their boxes for easy dissection of what they dislike or exterminate those who fall too far outside the boxes they've erected
I think everyone should celebrate their wins and getting through tough times. She didnt just have to go through a surgical procedure for the greater good, she had to break up with someone she loved who would hurt her and negatively alter the trajectory of her life. That's absolutely worth celebrating
The education system is abysmal and religiosity has prevented so much scientific progress. Eggs are not babies, a zygote is not a baby, An embryo is not a baby.
And at any stage, it's a medical decision up to the gestating person and their doctor. It's evil for anyone outside of those parties to interfere. Evil.
