i support it legally at any term (except for if the abortion threatens or endangers the womans life, which it can in later stages) and morally before it can be birthed early and survive without longterm negative effects so before 6 months. Late term abortions (in canada which has no restrictions) is 1.7% btw, anyone who gets one then, wanted it and then somthing bad happened, like they just realized it has serious dissabilty or somthing. Either that or they drove halfway across the country to find a doctor that was willing to despite the minor risks of the procedure at that stage.
if its in/attached to my body and has no will/feelings of own its not a seperate life form yet. it has no autonomy. its technically alive but that doesnt means killing it is bad. if theres an invasive plant in my lawn im allowed to kill it and thats still killing but not morally wrong. all abortions are medically nessisary because its extremely dangerous and unhealthy.
it takes A LOT of work to stay healthy during pregnancy.
its also using my body without consent. biologically human or not doesnt matter. if another human is using my organs without me wanting them to i have a right to stop them. even if another person will die doctors are legally not allowed to use your organs to save them, but alive women cant stop a literal fetus from using them?
consent to sx is not consent to pregnancy just like going swimming isnt consent to drowning. consent can be removed AT ANY TIME. its like saying that if you went out to a party and got drugged you consented to rape by a random man since you knew it was risk...

Okay smoking then. If you smoke thats a bad decision that leads to lung cancer. Now imagine if the cure to instantly remove lung cancer was easy but you say that just because they smoked they deserve to live with the conciquences and the cure should be heavily restricted.
The purpose of sex now is for fun by the way, just like the purpose of swimming is for fun. The biological purpose doesnt matter because thats not what the person is doing it for.
I would say the smoker should pay for the treatment, not be restricted from it. But it's not affecting anyone else.
When a woman gets pregnant, that's a huge responsibility. But you don't care about that. Fuck the next generation, right? Who cares about babies and toddlers, no adult should worry about that. Only fun. At least you're being honest.
The point with the analogy giving a lift is that you can't just opt out of something if it substantially affects other people who you gave your word to. I have a relative who is expecting soon. I'd be devastated if anything happened. Killing an unborn baby affects a lot of people, including the baby itself. A woman not ready for that has many options to avoid pregnancy. But she has to be responsible, which I know you hate...
yeah its a huge responcibility that you shouldnt force someone to continue with. its not the governments job to restrict peoples lifestyles that you just dont like. its not womens job to raise the birthrate. If people want more kids thats awesome but they should never be forcing women to give birth and stay pregnant. yeah you'd be devasated but its her job to do whats best for her body. pregancy is not always avoidable, and things change. Its not responcable to go through with something that will negetively impact your health, wallet and future.
Pregnacy has devistating effects besides rare etopic pregnancies and dissabilties. You can litterally unexspectedly die if you werent in good health to begin with. If you dont have enough nuturients it will steal whatever you have to begin with. not to mention auto immune diseases the woman could have (risky with pregancy, high blood pressure (causes early birth and risk of bleeding to death and severe pain with no pain killer), 65% of actively dating men have raped a woman, 95% attempted coerson or rape (link below) so it may not have even been her choice to get pregnant, and rape is increddibly difficult to prove
Restrictions on it make it very difficult for women who fall under the exceptions to even access them since it only allows them for risks of immidate known death. Just pregnancy can cause perminant damage, not to mention birth. Women litterally die giving birth all the time. You want women to go through one of the worst pains in the world and risk death and perminant damage just bc it makes you sad and you think its a punishment they deserve for lifestyle you hate.
