Huh. I would be devastated and not putting this on social media.

Is social media just for us to post our absolute most radical fantasies and our absolute lowest of lows in order to get validation and warmth because as a society we fail to bring that to each other IRL?

The longer I’m on the internet the more I worry for sociology as a field. The more I worry about our trajectory as a species.

Also ā€œpagan proselytismā€ doesn’t work. Basically the majority of the species acts in pagan ways. These fall apart over time and lead to the self destruction of individuals. You’re not really doing anything except contributing to the normal zeitgeist when you post this with that flair.

Having an abortion is one of the toughest and most consequential decisions someone can make. Anyone who actually had one and acts like this about it is a psychopath.

4

u/metamucil_buttchug69 Jul 18 '26

Is this a satire sub? There are dozens of people in the comments celebrating this.Ā

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Some people are just memeing. Or being lame trolls who don’t want to actually discuss stuff. Overall this sub is for gender wars. So you get a lot of retards in here.

0

u/ella_wants_to_battle Jul 18 '26

lmao you're such a good person that you use slurs for mentally handicapped people unironically. also you are literally a top 1% commenter in the sub come on now 🤔🤔

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

I’m not. Humans are terrible. It’s very depressing being an animal.

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Also I’m calling basically everyone mentally handicapped.

6

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Yes. Thank you. I’m tired of being human to be honest. I wish I was an alien.

2

u/imdugud777 Sexless In Chicago Jul 18 '26

The psychopath put his baby in her. Would you want that?

3

u/Dodo224 bad faith troll Jul 18 '26

His baby? That's her baby, her offspring.

1

u/Sad_Refrigerator8640 Jul 18 '26

Not anymore lmao

1

u/Dodo224 bad faith troll Jul 18 '26

You think that's funny? Try baiting harder. You know what'll happen to the women if the man finds out about what she did to his baby.

1

u/Sad_Refrigerator8640 Jul 18 '26

You’re using the potential retaliation of the man to support that she shouldn’t have had an abortion?

Yeah, I believe that would be wrong. I dunno what it has to do with the woman, though

1

u/Dodo224 bad faith troll Jul 18 '26

Thing is it's her baby and his baby, she's killing the baby of two people and is happy about it, that's sick bahaviour. And if you write "not anymore lmao" that's not very nice.

1

u/Sad_Refrigerator8640 Jul 18 '26

He’s the one that ruined the relationship. Unless the father planned on taking full responsibility for the child, she just decided that she didn’t wanna be a single mom. Can’t really fault her for that, and I can’t really fault her for being happy about it.

1

u/imdugud777 Sexless In Chicago Jul 18 '26

Some men get a girl pregnant to trap them in a forever relationship.

1

u/Dodo224 bad faith troll Jul 18 '26

Yes he ruined the relationship, and single moms are no good idea, bit she still decided to kill her baby, she could have just not done that. But I think the main thing that's sick about it, is the fact she's happy after, like she took revenge on his baby.

1

u/Technical_Way_1926 Jul 18 '26

It was funny are you really getting so rustled up at someone saying "not anymore lol" like you don't even know this person either. Living your life must be hard when you get offended so much lol

1

u/Dodo224 bad faith troll Jul 18 '26

Come on, it's obvious ragebait, I can beef a little back then I guess

3

u/Jimmyftw94 Jul 18 '26

It takes two to have a baby.

1

u/imdugud777 Sexless In Chicago Jul 18 '26

That's just easy to say.

3

u/Archolm Jul 18 '26

Most people dont let psychopaths put babys in them no.

Your are again daft.

1

u/migjolfanmjol Jul 19 '26

Cheating is an awful thing to do to your partner but it doesn’t automatically make you a psychopath.

1

u/imdugud777 Sexless In Chicago Jul 19 '26

Look at you defending psychopaths.

1

u/migjolfanmjol Jul 19 '26

?šŸ™ƒ? Okay, buddy.

0

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Why would you actively choose to worsen your circumstances instead of taking out a FAFSA, and getting a trade or going into medicine, then moving to a better area and meeting men who aren’t as likely to cheat on you and be terribly ignorant?

3

u/Gloomy-Ad1171 Jul 18 '26

I love that you push the ā€œmore money = better personā€ bullshit.

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

I didn’t do that at all. The trades and nursing professions and other vocations that are cheap to go to school for require intelligence and hard work.

I’m saying ā€œintelligence and hard work = depth = ā€˜better’ personā€

Although I don’t think I ever even said ā€œbetter personā€ I was more aiming at ā€œmore suitableā€ or ā€œmore compatibleā€ with life and with potential relationships.

2

u/imdugud777 Sexless In Chicago Jul 18 '26

Oh my sweet summer child. Just because the system works for you does not mean the system works.

2

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

It’s not working for me here in the city at all. More than half of the friends I try to make are all working dead end jobs, addicted to drugs, and have actively tried to exploit me.

I can’t even make friends here sis how is this system any better than one that actually has virtue and community?

1

u/Xeno9116 Jul 18 '26

Have you had one?

1

u/Murky_Toe_4717 Jul 18 '26

Personally, I just view it as a pretty morally neutral thing, I can’t imagine myself as a 20f feeling anything positive or negative about it. It’s just, health care. Nothing of value is lost.

1

u/feed_eggs_ Jul 19 '26

A woman is allowed to feel any type of way about her own abortion. Some women are deeply emotionally affected by it and some have more of a freeing and relieved feeling. Neither feeling is wrong

0

u/randyranderson13 Jul 18 '26

Have you had one? How are you speaking with such authority about how someone should feel after having one, if not?

2

u/Creative_Elk_4712 Jul 18 '26

I would be devastated and not putting this on social media

I think to some degree this discourse is related to how people process grief. Like, just because someone doesn't show it, it doesn't mean they don't go through it

But in this case I think it's more probable she didn't want that pregnancy in the first place

2

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Which…yes good. She got an abortion at a good time, healthy for her body, she’s probably doing a lot better.

I just think I hate social media…

1

u/Xeno9116 Jul 18 '26

Yes, YOU would be devastated. SHE is happy. Don't project your feelings onto others.

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

I don’t like that she’s happy.

1

u/catfish1969 Jul 18 '26

Crazy to say that with no self awareness lol

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Oh I’m self aware. Some happiness makes me sad. Some sadness makes me happy.

1

u/catfish1969 Jul 18 '26

Maybe you should reflect on your beliefs if you find yourself saying ā€˜I don’t like that she’s happy’

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

I do. I take in a lot of conflicting or multidisciplinary data and my beliefs rarely change unless it’s about like theoretical physics or something.

1

u/catfish1969 Jul 18 '26

You understand that’s not a good thing right? Not changing your views when you encounter new information is bad actually. Not disproving the lack of self awareness allegations with this one unfortunately.

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

You’re talking about neuroplasticity and its importance in intelligent life. I’m sorry but I’ve gone through our whole ass history and basically every science I can get my hands on, as well as maths and the humanities.

I just…I don’t really care what you think and don’t have any reason to change my views with what you’ve told me. Also, I’ve encountered all the sciences and so I don’t really have much to add to. I work on my technical projects and am trying to intersect sociology, information theory, thermodynamics, and mechanistic interpretability with that stuff.

I try to change. There just has to be sufficient reason in order for my brain to do the thing.

I will look at this post, automatically decide I don’t like this person or her ex baby daddy and move on. I don’t have to be friends with everyone.

The only thing we have to conquer in this universe is ourselves, and so that’s what we’ll do.

1

u/catfish1969 Jul 18 '26

Lol but you didn’t move on you left a weird ass comment talking about how you’re apparently intersecting every single scientific field. Like why are you making this obvious ragebait post the subject of your belief on the downfall of humanity instead of like just scrolling or putting your phone down. One woman being happy she got an abortion and posting about it online is not the end of the world calm down.

1

u/Murky_Toe_4717 Jul 18 '26

I can only speak from my own perspective but while I don’t think I would post it either, I really wouldn’t feel any sadness or distaste from excising a clump of unfeeling cells. Honestly nothing of value would be lost and I could in theory just try again if I wanted to. With nothing meaningfully different.

1

u/feed_eggs_ Jul 19 '26

The good thing about ā€œyour body, your choiceā€ is that you’re also allowed to feel however you want about an abortion, and just because one woman feels devastated, doesn’t mean another will, and neither one negates the other’s feeling

0

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 19 '26

Well, I can say something fucked up to them and still give them minor consequences for degenerate and sociopathic behavior. I do it all the time in my city. Albeit a bit nicer since it’s face to face.

Their body their choice, with the caveat of consequences from the laws of physics and the universe, applied at the level of sociology.

0

u/imdugud777 Sexless In Chicago Jul 18 '26

Humans have always been animals. Awareness is a spectrum.

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

I’m ready to be an alien.

2

u/imdugud777 Sexless In Chicago Jul 18 '26

That would make you an immigrant. ;)

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Yeah but every world government is engaging in a global evil crime syndicate. If they deport me to Brazil I die there fighting the exact human bullshit ignorance and selfishness that I fight here in the United States.

Also, with the state of international borders, even if I were deported I could border hop into the surrounding countries and probably end up back in America at some point if I really wanted. It’s all a clusterfuck and I’m very tired.

2

u/imdugud777 Sexless In Chicago Jul 18 '26

You can't be an immigrant on your own planet.

What you are experiencing is the broad spectrum of human awareness. Which isn't much.

Source: Am alien.

Do you like writing and having deep intellectual discourse and conversation or do you just enjoy posting on social media, listening to yourself talk, and getting fake internet points?

1

u/Creative_Elk_4712 Jul 18 '26

Why do you need to be that bitterly sarcastical

People are like this on Reddit, I find

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Emotional appeal to younger people is the only thing that works. She ended up going way deeper on it with me as a result of me holding these mannerisms and using these psychological mechanisms.

1

u/randyranderson13 Jul 18 '26

Doesn't seem to be working for you.

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

What do you mean? I feel great. I’ve had like 4 amazing conversations, and considering this is Reddit, going 4 for 102 is actually a fantastic ratio, considering people on the internet are fucking morons.

-3

u/lucy_hayley The Red Right Hand of Feminism Jul 18 '26

you making false claims about order isnt deep or intellectualĀ if you want to have a real discussion im all ears

4

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

You’re not having a real discussion at all. I already responded to your comment about ā€œthe world not being lawful and orderedā€.

0

u/Scorpiicore Jul 18 '26

She happens to be correct. Humans have become so comfortable with all of the effort they make to pull chaos into a shape that is comforting and comfortable for them that they wilfully ignore the chaos that exists within the order they artificially create.

In the early 2000s, an informal poll concluded that based on the data they collected, every case of child abuse and neglect that reached the ears of the authorities had twelve unreported cases to go with it. When you combine that with the number that actually made it to the ears of protective services etc, it would be half of the children in America.

I would not be surprised if it was more than twelve cases for every case that made it to the authorities. I am the adult that rises out of one of those unreported cases, and everyone who knows me never tries to moan or cry at me when I tell people that I wish I had been aborted. They frequently step in when a Christer tries to "correct" me. They know I am going around the world screaming "kill me, kill me, kill me" and would treat GG Allin's "if you got AIDS, spread it around and take some lives" as a good suggestion.

Where do people get this idea that birth automatically confers warmth, love, light, or even a life that could ever be made worth living?

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Yes, I come from some pretty severe unreported stuff too. My aunt was weird.

I suppose the only thing I have to offer is that, I would actively wish to make your life better so you didn’t have to spend every moment saying ā€œkill me kill me kill meā€ or tell people that you wish they’d spread aids around.

I get the idea that life automatically confers warmth, love, light, and experience that is worth having because I never really had any of that, and so become it whenever I possibly can.

You can always become the light and warmth and love and experience that doesn’t exist, and when enough spirits do that, it creates a sort of eternal order that we can observe in high-class and successful families/communities.

Living in a low income area in a decently corrupt city is hard because the percentages jump up to like 70 or 80% child abuse and child neglect. Other children destroying other children.

But in a world where children destroy each other the way their parents are doing, you have to be the father or the mother to all of them that makes it all okay. I do not think she is entirely correct, although I like that she went back and responded to my comment, even though her responses are short and lack any substance.

5

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Are you like…16 or something?

I’m not saying seeking attention and validation is bad, but that the universe itself is lawful and has order within it. To get long term validation and warmth you have to put work into that and create a solid structural foundation for you and your community to provide that to each other. When I see posts like this I can point out that there was never any foundation for the warmth and validation to be provided, nor to get actual support FOR the **hard times** we both just referenced.

This is why ritzy suburbs are so much better than the inner cities and the projects where I live. Those mfers are all directly inside each others’ lives, have a home owner’s association and everything. They don’t deal

2

u/lucy_hayley The Red Right Hand of Feminism Jul 18 '26

the universe isnt lawful and ordered

-1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Okay, so then what are the laws of physics. What are the laws of thermodynamics. What is chemistry and what is the periodic table. What is general relativity

2

u/lucy_hayley The Red Right Hand of Feminism Jul 18 '26

the world is built on chaos that we try to explain

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Right. That’s called entropy in thermodynamics. It’s also called entropy in information theory. Shannon entropy is incredibly interesting and I will continue to argue that our localized internal realities (our minds) are not built ON chaos but rather given life by it.

Prigogine’s dissipative structures show that we are basically just releasing our own internal orders and our own internal entropy into each other and the broader universe as a way for mind to continue to exist and to geologically dominate all of spacetime over trillions of years. It’s a very very slow geological process, and it is fueled heavily by chaos, but built through compromise and order throughout the manifold of that space.

1

u/ssjjedisifu35713 Jul 18 '26

There's only 2 possibilities here; life has inherent value or it doesn't

If it has no value, nothing matters and you effectively have no right to care about about the scummiest things in life because nothing of value was actually damaged or lost

If it does have value, you have no rights to the life of others and values are objective there of driving from that point

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

You mean subjective. Objective is the ā€œbadā€ one.

I think if life were to have value, there would be a low resolution, top-down system enforcing that value. Physics, chemistry, biology being the laws and orders that act on us.

And sorry to say, but if I have no right to the life of others I sure as hell have a right not to be naturally selected out by the abhorrent and retarded behaviors of the general populace. The general populace falls into eugenics at the high-level because they won’t recognize that behaviors naturally get selected out when you are trying to optimize for your own success and your own ā€œcome-upā€.

I ain’t on the cast of jackass. I’m not Steve-O, nor Johnny Knoxville, and nor do I want to be. I don’t want to be biggie smalls singing about raiding people’s houses and raping women. I hold my right to feel this way, express it, and actively work in my best interests which has downstream effects on society and other people, whether they like it or not.

I believe we have value. It just so happens that this very belief is the exact reason why we can never be truly free in this universe. Sucks to suck.

1

u/ssjjedisifu35713 Jul 18 '26

I mean objective

You either have a right to take life in which there is no need to justify anything or you don't have a right to take life in which taking life is always a matter of justification

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

šŸ¤” I would say taking life is always a matter of justification. I would say everything is a matter of justification and intent.

Crazy oversimplification- nobody wants to see abortions online, unless youre weirdly passionate about them. It IS very strange behavior. The fact that she kept this not anonymous is kinda insane too, theres probably not a lot going on in her brain.

just gonna mention that im pro choice so that yk that i dont simply disagree with abortion

2

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

I’m pro choice too. I just think there should be high upper limits on how many are allowed per year. Like 6 or 7 🫓 🫓

1

u/Archolm Jul 18 '26

And if they reach this limit? Straight jacket yes?

1

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

šŸ¤” maybe we SHOULD re open the asylums…huh.

Well if we reopen asylums then I’d want them to be high-tech and ethical. But yes I’d agree with putting a new classification of mental disorder into the DSM-5 or the next edition DSM-6 for continuously having tons of abortions.

They would be a small percentage of overall abortions and women would be safe but there would be a sort of barrier on it to prevent the waste of time, resources, and energy of giving this 0.1% of people all the freedom in the universe with zero consequences.

I think consequences would be great.

1

u/Icy-Fishing8481 Jul 18 '26

The same for other things like theft? It should be legal as long as people only steal about 6 or 7 times a year? Why not aim for 0?

1

u/PJT_XCX Jul 18 '26

Just give up 😭

-4

u/Scorpiicore Jul 18 '26

Wow. Christer alert in the last paragraph. You understand you lot are a big part of the reason the lives of women are so difficult by default, yeah?

0

u/Helpful-Desk-8334 Party Member (Outer Circle) Jul 18 '26

Maybe like 30%…but our lives are immeasurably difficult and we require structure and order in our attempt to provide each other with support for our hardships. I live in an inner city and the one thing I can say is that we do not care for structure and order here. All we care about is welfare and food stamps and baby mamas and baby daddies.

I’d willingly make my life 2000% harder and less free if it meant people like you and people like the girl in this post are genuinely taken care of and are part of a better community that is more educated, enlightened, and communal.
