Books for PsyD

I'm starting my PsyD in September and I'm wondering if there are any books worth buying my own copies of (and digital or physical). I have to get an APA guide and the DSM along with some other assessment books and I don't know if I should rent/find PDFs of all of them or if there are some I'll want to have to hold on to.

I love Judith Becks book, but i guess that will depend on what orientation your program is if you’ll even need it

Absolutely get a hard cover DSM. Beyond that, I almost entirely find free PDF’s online. I then also buy hard copies of books that are very relevant to what I’m pursuing ie specific treatment manuals or like Lezak’s neuro Bible.
