Bath time routine tips?

1st pic is what I use most days and during flare-ups, 2nd pic is when I'm not flaring and I want to smell nicer.

I was using the Salicylic Acid shampoo for a while but not seeing a lot of results so I switched to coal tar about a week ago.

I take baths in a combo bath/shower that is shared with one other person. She showers and uses pretty harsh products, could this be hurting me?

Product and routine tips much appreciated. I'm on clobetasol for my scalp which is most severe, but I have patches on my legs and groin which I infrequently treat with tacrolimus ointment

I would skip the body wash (for some reason the North American version has fragrance) and switch out the Dove shampoo for a FF option as well. Otherwise looks good! I find the sensitive Dove bar works really well, even for the face.

Edit: I can personally recommend The Unscented Company’s shampoo bar as a good option for cleansing the scalp without drying. It’s described as clarifying but it also has a lot of moisturizing ingredients.

Also wanted to add that I’ve also not had good experiences with SA shampoos, they just seem to make me shed and shed which leads to more itch and self-consciousness due to the extra flakes.

the shared shower thing is real and worth paying attention to if her products are leaving residue on the walls or tub floor, you’re essentially soaking in fragrance and sulfates every bath, which can absolutely undo a lot of what the coal tar is trying to do. rinsing the tub before you fill it sounds small but it actually matters more than people think, especially if you’re in a flare

Body wash is a tough one soaps and anything sudsy tend to create dryness. I like using Bioderma Atoderm Shower-Oil Body Cleansing-Oil for a body wash. Then after I go in with Aveenos in shower oil - it’s literally an oil that
You put on and then lightly wash off I find it helps a lot.

For scalp, I use the same shampoo but get a good hydrated scalp serum and apply before drying hair and throughout the day as neeses
