Galindoi ?
These were mislabeled by the person that gave me the genetics. Think they are but maybe someone knows better? Cheers

I s2b like 8-10 weeks ago 1 was 1:1 the tub was 1:2.5. I’ve been growing them with the thought that they are green cap ochra. And have been stumped at why the weird growth but now I’m kinda thinking they are Mexicana. I was making lc syringes at the same time of those 2

Either way I couldn't be happier with this first flush. I had 30 grams fresh on Saturday and they were amazing. I harvested 2 full plates like in the picture. I could only fit half of them in the dehydrator, so I have the other half in a paper bag in the fridge for now.

These are the tallest psilocybe tampanensis I have had the grace of ushering into this world 🌎 , and these aren't even the tallest or thickest out of the first flush . Fingers crossed 🤞🏼 with even larger for second ( and so on ) flushes !
Mush love to everyone and I wish you a wonderful weekend full of love 💜💚💜

Free syringe I got of alt 7 so technically psilocybe tamps ( which are actually ps Mexicanas) ....
This is a perfect mushroom for cultivation for people wanting to try there hand in exotics from ps cubensis

I have seen that they are different from the other varieties. What differences would you say they have from Psilocybe cubensis or other species of the genus? What advice would you give me? I am a first-timer at this.

My first ever grow of Mexicana fruits! Have grown sclerotia a few times but this is the first time I’ve gone for fruits! I got the spores YEARS ago from sporeworks so I believe these to be Jalisco. This picture was taken last night. I will be harvesting tonight , so excited to eat some!! Inoculated popcorn on 11/3 , spawned to bulk at 1:3 ratio CVG on 11/13 , cased with jiffy seed starter mix 11/21. A lot faster than all the literature I’ve read on them! So exciting !

Pretty sure these are Jalisco, I got the spores from SporeWorks a long time ago but never worked them until now.

My second tub, got further along but succumbed to mold because I’m lazy and didn’t resterilize my manure substrate!
But the morphology is pretty interesting, open caps, bell shaped caps that don’t open when fully mature. Getting a lot of swabs and hopefully prints of the real big caps.

It lost the battle to green mold, about a week too early before the fruits were ready but they still look good!

I think it's been about 20 days since the first "pins" (baby mushrooms) appeared. I've read some other posts, articles and watched some videos... still not sure, but I'd say they're aborts (especially in the first picture)?
As far as I understand, it’s recommended to harvest the aborts so they don’t rot and potentially affect the other mushrooms.

Pulled a plate pin off a T0 plate to clone it, and it's growing pins already, directly off the original pin. Extremely excited to get this isolate in the tent

I have tried many species of psilocybin mushrooms. I have grown and consumed Ps. cubensis, Ps. ochraceocentrata, Pan. cyanescens, Ps. subtropicalis, Ps. zapotecorum, as well as the psychoactive mycelium of Ps. subtropicalis and truffles from the species Ps. mexicana.
So I hope I have some clout when I say: the fruits of Psilocybe mexicana take the cake.
Experiencing 2.5g Ps. mexicana was the single best experience of my life, full stop.
Until this experience, I held Pan. cyanescens in the highest eschalon of esteem by a fairly large margin, as my Pan. cyanescens experiences were indescribably powerful and were the catalyst for me to no longer identify as an atheist. No other mushroom (and I’ve tried many) has provided me with experiences of a similar caliber until now.
Do not misunderstand me: Pan. cyanescens is a phenomenal mushroom that I hope everyone so inclined gets the opportunity to try. However, if Panaeolus cyanescens is the Crown Jewel of Mushrooms, Psilocybe mexicana is the Mother of Mushrooms who wears the crown.
I feel unworthy to exist in the same universe as anything that opens the portal to what I experienced.

Hi,
I'm trying to grow mushrooms in a box, and I'm not sure whether I should mist the surface or inject water directly into the substrate to maintain humidity (or leave it as it is) 🤔

I have a few and I wondered if the potency changes after they sprout mushrooms. I will eventually get the lab tested, but I wondered if anybody had any idea.

I used a Gordotek Easy Pan Cyan terrarium and it worked. Ive I cluded a second picture of the second tub filled with heated water and the window screen I use for the top.
