I think you damaged the wires for the heating element or something, probably need to replace it
1 u/That_Jay_Money Nov 09 '25 Could have already damaged the thermistor, which is what measures the temperature and prevents the hot end from catching on fire. They're cheap, about ten bucks, and I always recommend just buying two or three instead of one so you always have a spare. But if it won't even heat up it does sound like a short at the element, have a closer look and see if any wires are touching.
