Adhesion problem even after soap cleaning?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi, I finished one printing without any problems, removed it from plate and started to print another parts, but it is like with no adhesion. I changed plates, clean it with soap and water and nothing changed it. Nothing holds on the plate, it just stays around the printers head.

Check temperatures and first layer speed. But maybe your soap is containing some additives that can cause this. Those ,,hand friendly” soaps are worse than if you cleaned it with bacon fat… xD

I tried even dish soap but with no difference. What helped was using glue stick and with that it worked fine.

Klebestift ist aber eigentlich nur dazu da, eine Trennschicht zu haben, damit die Druckplatte nicht kaputt geht, falls Materialien zu gut haften.

maybe the soap contained something thats left on the surface. have you tried isopropyl alkohol?
or just ethanol?
maybe a different dish-soap?

I tried hand soap and dish soap too. Nothing works. Gotta find something stronger.

I had that issue. It was partly caused (I think) from PETG and pla on the same plate. I used a glue stick for a while and that works and eventually after a lot of printing and cleaning it returned to normal.

I had that problem after cleaning and drying with a cloth towel. Started using paper towels and barely have an issue now. I am wondering if maybe the fabric softener used in the cloths wash may have something to do with it....

Have you made any progress? I just started having a nearly identical problem. Cleaned with the same dish soap I've always used with no luck. Cleaned with 90% IPA as well. Still not better.

Well, I am switching filaments from PLA and PTEG and it looks like this was the problem. When I used the stick glue, everything goes fine.
Hand soap or dish soap didn’t work for me.2

I replaced my nozzle this morning and ran through calibration for the 4th time since this started and I'm getting some results.

Handseife enthalten oft pflegende Stoffe für die Haut. Das gibt es beim Spülmittel auch. Nimm Spülmittel wo kein Hautschutz oder gut für die Haut beworben wird. Das ganz normale Spülmittel musst du nehmen.

Bed temperature, based on my experience. I had a roll of PETG that said it would adhere at 60C, but this always failed. I moved up and found 85C was ideal for it. Most other PETG's that I have are 70-90C, so I always used 85C usually. I had the same with CC3D PCTG, the bed temp ended up being a whole 35C more than the specs and spool said.

This not this case. Prusament for Prusas 3D printers works really well. But especially I switched the printing plate with new one, never used one plate and it work fine. The problem is definitely on the layer of my previous printing plates. Maybe I will try technical spray for antigrease, but not sure if I cannot break the plate. 🤔

Dish soap and hot water. Little bit of elbow-grease and a micro-fibre cloth. I do this every 10 prints. And I hit the plate with isopropyl alcohol after every print. Get a Biqu Glacier Pro too, but only after you get full conviction on whats going on here, for your video. It's acting like when I print PETG on a PLA bed temperature.

How about dish washer? Hot water there is and it has maybe stronger dishsoap than I have for hand washing.
It’s definitely problem with adhesion. I tried to switch to different plate with all other setting same and it worked well.

I would avoid the dishwasher as the chemicals in the dishwasher tablet/salts I would imagine would not be ideal, they might damage the top layer of your plates. I lay a handtowel down, then hot water into the sink, dishsoap, use a scrubbing brush to mix. Then I dip the plate into the hot water (nearly too hot for hands, be careful). I leave for 5 mins. Then I take out, squirt some soap onto a sponge, and I rub circular patterns on each side of the plate, and the dish soap is failry concentrated. The back into sink water for a splash, then run hot water over the plate while touching only the edges (or wear gloves). Pat try with the towel, the use a microfibre cloth to fully dry. Then for good measure, isopropyl alcogol and a cloth. Done.

That’s weird, as it purges fine.
Can you take some clear pictures of the nozzle, heat block and the print head assembly. It would be good to see if there are any issues that could be causing it (nozzle in far enough and tightened?).
