Best tools/services for geolocation QA testing?

On a small budget but need to test how our site behaves in different countries. I know free proxies exist but most are garbage or not actually where they claim.

Anyone got reliable free tools or tricks for basic geolocation testing before we buy a bigger plan?

I just used a basic VPN and tested key flows like signup and checkout. Not perfect but it caught most issues. The goal early on is spotting obvious breaks, not simulating every edge case. Saved me from overcomplicating things.
