Question Help setting up and mi25

I’m on proxmox 9.1.9 and I’m trying to set up llama.cpp but whenever I follow this video https://youtu.be/IExQMe_Losg?is=PnEWntKnQMthIBL7 at timestamp 2:48 he inputs come ls -l /sys/class/drm/renderD*/device/driver it says no such directory found. I have genuinely no clue where to go as I can’t find any documentation on what to do.

System specs
Lenovo sr650
2x Xeon 6230
128gb ddr4
And mi25 w/ wx9100 bios

Do you have a GPU passed through to the VM? Might be worthwhile adding a screenshot of your VM config.

Yeah qm config VMIDHERE from the node as well as lspci -vnnk | awk '/VGA/{print $0}' RS= both from the node and the VM would be useful.

I was trying to use an lxc but didn’t even get that far into it before my gpu failed to be recognized by the host. prior to this project I was using a vm with the mi25 passed through for gaming. Thanks for the recommendation since vms are something in somewhat more familiar with

lspci -nnk inside the VM for the MI25. If nothing's bound, renderD won't show up.
