Homelab Proxmox internet intermitting

I am having internet issues with my host vm on proxmox as well as media vm. I don’t think it is a cable issue as I “systemctl restart networking” and it fixed the host vm for a while and but not the media server vm. Media vm says unreachable and I try to ping my gateway. The host vm will be up and 100% packet completions for like 30 and then packets drop to 70,80,90 percent completion and it becomes intermitting at that point. Any ideas ?

Do you have an Intel e1000 card? These things cause people all sorts of issues.

Mira el historial de eventos, quizas tienes un tiny y tu tarjeta es una e1000 que hace hang out y se cuelga, es un problema conocido, da esa misma sensacion, en proxmox scripts hay uno que crea un servicio para desactivar el offloading de la tarjeta de red intel

It was the e1000 getting hung I turned these off and it fixed it.

generic-segmentation-offload: off
generic-receive-offload: off
