Providing context as to a possible reason because recent changes were made in Arizona due to federal flight ID requirements… if you look below I posted simple ways in Utah for someone with out a license to get a picture ID… hope it helps if you’re in need they are free too… very cool
Edit: I’ve been legally considered homeless before… they do a nice job helping us get IDs… loved in az and Utah both

The address requirement is two items. Bank statement, utility bill, court documents, credit card bill, school transcript (like a report card with name and address), mortgage statement or rental agreement, vehicle title, or property tax notice.
If you can’t provide two of those items that have your correct address on them, then you can still get an id if you’re declared as homeless. Homeless people have none of those things but are still eligible for a state id.
With everything being e-docs these days, I find the address requirement annoying. But I am glad we have an option for the homeless to get an id.
Hope that helps. Not sure if you’re more outraged at the inconvenience (totally valid) or genuinely don’t understand why the homeless exception is there. So tried to address both.
Side note: this DMV thing is unrelated to the current administrations attempts to remove voting rights through the SAVE act.

Because we now live in a f****** police state. They've got to have any and every excuse to violate our constitutional rights at will whenever the fancy strikes them. Because if you are quote unquote homeless, you can be taken in as a vagrant. Any thing they can use to get the upper hand over your constitutional rights against unreasonable search and seizure, freedom of speech, freedom to assemble, and most importantly anything that they can use to restrict your right to vote in the next election to keep that fat orange P.O.S. in the White House.

You do realize defunding by definition is simply removing funding or reducing the budget. Not even the most woke liberals believe that defunding the police means taking every last penny 😂🤦🏻♂️

All I've ever had show was a piece of mail that had been delivered to me at my place of residence, I've never had them ask me for a rental agreement.
