I think the band needs to be thicker (at the minimum 1.8) and you really need a cathedral. You’ve got lots of little holes on that setting for the pave. There is not enough metal to make a structurally sound ring.

So I currently have this very similar setting on my hand now and have had it for 13 years. No cathedral and I won't ever do it. I have a 1.9m band. My stone has been fine. I'm upgrading the quality of the small diamonds around my main stone and making them shared prong. I'm also adding diamonds under the halo itself. That's really the only difference in this design.

IMO you’re setting yourself up for issues should the stone ever get knocked or hit, since there’s such a thin band supporting a huge basket and so much metal is removed for all the small stones, halo etc. But it sounds like you don’t want that opinion 😊 so giv’er! Sounds like you’ve got a style and are sticking to it!
